Cam was able to fall asleep after her talk with Stiles. It was difficult that she did keep having flashes of the gruesome scene from the night before but it was sleep nonetheless. And she was filled with immense relief from hearing Stiles's voice. She's never felt anything like she did when she had that dream, the pull in her stomach like she could just tell something was wrong but she has to chalk it up to current events. So, she sleeps. And sleeps ad sleeps until she just can't sleep anymore. When she does wake up, the room is dark, Shep no longer in her bed and it's with groggy realization with lack of light coming through her curtains that she figures out she's slept through the entire day.

Cam stretches and reaches for her phone where she sees a few texts from Stiles and Scott, both just checking on her. The last one being from Stiles saying he was starting to get a little worried. It prompted a quick rush of guilt as Cam knows Stiles just spent the past two days worried about Lydia and now he's got her to worry about after last night.

Cam:
I'm fine, just slept through the day ig thanks for checking though

A knock sounds on Cam's door as her dad creaks the door open, finally seeing she's awake after checking on her every hour to make sure she's still breathing.

"You awake, finally?" Cam's dad smiles at her while Cam switches on her lamp on her nightstand.

"Yeah, guess I just needed to sleep." Cam crosses her legs while Shep jumps on the bed to her.

"Probably for the best after last night. How are you feeling?"

Cam shrugs. "Groggy." She lets out a sigh as her phone vibrates with a text, allowing her to actually look at the time. "It's after eight." She chews her lips before looking back to her dad. "It's time, isn't it?"

"Not quite." Keith lets out a sigh, with sunken eyes. "You have time to eat and get dressed. I wanted you to wake up more before I told you."

"Right." Cam nods and looks to the closed window.

With everything going on, Cam managed to push her mom completely from her head until now. It's like she had already faded away even though she's still here. Cam can't tell if that's just sick and twisted or if it's a good thing or if it's coping, maybe it's normal. She doesn't know. She doesn't know what's normal anymore and she doesn't even know how she should feel. She feels too much. And maybe that's the problem.

"I'll meet you downstairs." Keith says as Cam nods in response, hugging Shep's head lightly.

Cam gets up and showers quickly, not bothering doing anything with her hair or makeup. She doesn't even bother with actual clothes. She just throws on a pair of Beacon Hills sweat pants and a Mets shirt. They don't match for shit but she'll be at a hospital so she really doesn't think it matters much. She also doesn't even bother making food. The whole pulling the plug on her mom thing has put a damper on her appetite so she grabs a pop tart and tells her dad she's ready.
