Cam kicks off her shoes at the door, immediately being greeted by Shep, tail wagging as he sniffs her. Cam bends down and pets Shep, giving him a kiss on his head before standing up and making her way to the kitchen, Shep trotting alongside her. Leftover spaghetti is definitely going to be her dinner, a dish she eats far too often thanks to it being super easy to make and reheat, her dad always making it since her mom was admitted. So, she makes herself a bowl, adding extra sauce from the jar in the fridge before sticking it in the microwave and heading to the living room, dropping her stuff off while she waits for her food. Once her food is done, Cam brings it into the living room and makes herself comfortable on the couch, The Lost Boys playing in the background.

After finishing her food, Cam grabs her laptop from her bag and goes straight to Google. If there's one thing Cam feels like she knows quite a bit about, besides animals, it's technology. But, Scott's eyes are still bothering her and she can't think of a reason technology would cause that on person alone so when in doubt, go to Google.

Aside from Cam's natural curiosity, she really wants to figure out what's going on because she doesn't want her pictures to look bad. Her pictures will be used in the yearbook, website, social media, paper. They have to look good and it will not be a good look for her if she can't even get a decent picture of Scott. It won't look very professional so she needs to figure out what the hell is happening and how she can prevent it.

The first thing that comes up in Leukocoria. Apparently, it's where someone's eyes lack a natural eyeshine. It also causes the eyes to reflect when someone's picture is taken with a flash but apparently, it's a sign of a list of medical conditions, none of which Cam has ever heard of Scott having. Also, most of the time, it's discovered by the time the child is three so it seems like people are born with it. Without a doubt, Cam has definitely seen pictures of Scott from when he was a kid and his eyes were never like this. So, that can't be the cause and besides, Cam's pictuers from a few weeks ago, are just fine, this is a very recent thing.

So, the question is, what the hell can cause someone's eyes to reflect a flash out of nowhere? And the more Cam sits and thinks about it, her hand petting Shep, the more she remembers reading about animals' eyes and it can happen with them but that also doesn't make sense. What? Did Scott randomly have an eye transplant from an animal? No.

"Cam." Cam's dad's voice comes from behind her with the closing of the door.

Cam turns around, waving at him as he approaches the side of the couch. "No change?"

"No." He shakes his head but doesn't linger in the thought. "Crashing a funeral? Really, Cambridge?" His eyes are tired, it's like he wants to be mad so bad but he's just tired but he knows he still needs to reprimand his daughter.

Cam widens her eyes with an 'oops' look. "Well, we didn't technically crash it and I waited in the jeep."

He sighs in frustration. "When I told you to go be a kid, I didn't mean get into trouble."
