Starring at the two women in front of him, Isaias excitedly waited for their reaction. The aforementioned women themselves were starring at the fliers Isaias put on the table. The words "Detective agency" were written in bold letters at the top along with their club's room number. Arching a brow, Emel gave the man a questioning look. Katherine just looked very done with life and when she noticed nobody was willing to break the awkward silence, she had to give in.

"Wha-" she paused, probably to think of the right thing to say at the moment. "Why the fuck aren't you explaining what the fuck this is." Ah, this would do.

"A flier." As she stood up to slap him he added: "This is our VIP team building activity." Emel showed clear interest at the "VIP" part. It was working. "We are going to resolve mysteries."

"Aren't we too old to play detectives?"

"Who said we're playing? This is for real, girl."

"Don't call me that." Damn, he almost had Emel on his side.

"And your office is our club room?"

"Our office. And yes, I don't have anywhere else to go."

"Maybe your home?" Silly Emel, what if a killer came for him? At least at school, they could kill someone else, preferably Mannan. "And why is this a VIP activity?" Her curiosity was delightful. People usually didn't pay attention to what Isaias had to say. They would expect him to maybe say something scary since he was very tall and quite big, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he would lose all his credibility. So seeing how Emel acted like she was interested almost brought tears to the giant's eyes.

"Well, Mannan would say it's dumb, Thaou is too clumsy to be a detective and who cares about the other two? What are their names again? Sapphic and Accras? We are the best ones."

"And why do you believe I wouldn't say it's dumb?"

"Because you're my best friend forever." He then turned to Emel: "And you're the new girl, you can't say no because you want to fit in."

"Don't assume things about me."

"Anyway, people don't know about the club yet so we'll hand out these." He then proceeded to take out a huge pile of fliers and put them on the table. Some of them flew out and Katherine caught them before scrambling and throwing them at Isaias. The latter knew what was coming and tried to dodge them, in vain. He gave one half of the stack to each of his friends and gave them instructions as to where the most strategic places to hand out these were. He guessed they would probably keep most of the fliers at home or in a trash can so the majority remained in his bag since he couldn't rely on anyone else beside himself. Isaias then stood up and said: "Don't ruin the mission." before dramatically exiting the cafe without looking back.

The next day, he waited for Thaou in front of his classroom.

"No."

"But-"

"I can't lend you the key, I'm the club president so if something happens I'm the one who will be held accountable." Was this kid serious? Isaias was at least five years older than him and yet he talked like it was the other way around. If he wasn't twice as big as Thaou he would've slapped him but that surely wouldn't give him the key. Also this would probably kill him and he didn't need this for now. "Why do you even need it?" he added.

"To study. The library is always full and the cafeteria is too noisy." He had plenty of time to think of a believable enough lie so he was genuinely surprised when the other man didn't seem convinced. The look he was giving him screamed "you're the noisy one." This brat. Isaias then added: "Kate and Emel will be there too."
