Chapter 12: Date Night? L & N

Logan's POV

I walked into my house tired as ever. I quickly ran up to my room and laid out my outfit for Saturday. Oh God was I excited. I had picked out a gorgeous angled dress which was a turquoisey color that came with a thin gold belt. I added a gold watch, some gold earrings in the shape of a heart with a crown in the middle, some gold bracelets, a gold bow ring, a gold heart-shaped purse, and a necklace I've had for a while that just happens to be gold and have the letter L in the center. I pulled a creamish colored cardigan from my closet knowing it would be cold considering it was New York in December. I finished off the outfit with a adorable pair of goldish creamish heels. Oh boy, I hope Niall likes the color gold.

Niall's POV

Harry had gone shopping the other day for his clothes so I decided today I should pick out mine, considering it is Thursday. I walked around my room for a while just thinking I might be able to get away with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, I mean she's going out with me for my personality and looks not for what I wear right? 

"Hey Lou what do you think of this?" I said walking into Louis' room wearing my favorite jeans, a white shirt and a blue snapback.

"What is this for mate?" Louis asked looking up from his computer. 

"It's for my date on Saturday with Logan, I thought you'd be the best one to ask."

"Oh no. I'm glad you came to me sooner instead of later. That will not do."

"Wait what's wrong with it?" 

"Oh nothing if you're going to a football game! Niall, you're going on a date with a wonderful girl. Show some respect and look like you didn't just roll out of bed and throw on some jeans."

"Fine. What do you think I should wear?" 

"Well considering I saw that this picture was her background I would wear this." Louis signaled for me to come and look at the picture he had pulled up. It was of me at a concert wearing a white button up shirt with red pants and a light blue cardigan and some white shoes. That's so cute, I was her background! 

Luckily I had that outfit with me because Lou Teasdale, our styilist, wanted us to bring our favorite concert outfits with us so we could talk about our outfits for the 'Take Me Home' tour coming up. 

I went back to my room and pulled out that outfit and tried it on. I walked back into Louis' room to show him. 

"Much much better mate."

Logan's POV

At the concert before the girls and I left we all exchanged numbers so I've been texting Niall all day. He's so normal. I mean yes he is a teenage boy but he's a normal teenage boy. He hasn't let the fame get to his head. Also I found out he has a snapchat and let's just say we've have a very hilarious day.

My mom came into my room while I was opening a snap from him. I crakced up laughing.

"What's going on up here? Who are you laughing at?" She asked me walking closer to my bed and further in my room. 

"Oh it's nothing mom." I said sending him a snapchat back.

"Who was that? Let me see!" My mom said grabbing my phone.

I hated when she did this. Last time I liked a boy she had him come over for dinner one day without me knowing and decided he needed to know everything about me including my embarrassing childhood. This was also when I first found out about the boys so my mom thought it would be a good idea to show him my room which was a mess first off but it also was covered in posters. To make a long story short the boy and I haven't talked since.

Hoooooly shiiit. It's Saturday. As I got out of bed I walked over to my calender and stared at the date I have been waiting for all week. Today's the day I go on my date with Niall Horan, the Niall Horan. I texted Casey and Morgan in a group message. 

Logan: HEY GUYS TODAY'S THE DAY.. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALREADY HERE.

Casey: FINALLY. Getting dressed soon!

Morgan: Casey it's 10 o'clock. The date isn't till 8. I think you have time.

Logan: IT'S OKAY CASEY AFTER BREAKFAST I'M GETTING CHANGED TOO.

Casey: BOOYAH

Morgan: You guys are crazy.

Niall's POV

I've never been more excited. It was noon already and I was supposed to pick Logan up at 8. I felt like counting down the seconds until I could leave.

I ate lunch with the lads and we all talked about what we were going to do tonight with the girls. Harry explained what him and Casey were going to be doing with that hour before they met up with us. She's going to love it.

It was about 7:30 and I was all dressed up and ready to go. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my phone. As I was walking to the car I texted Logan telling her I was about to leave.

Logan's POV

From: Nialler

On my way. See ya soon !

Oh wow. My nerves were going to get the best of me. I had to calm down. I sat on the couch and played with my L necklace. I heard foot steps. Then the doorbell. HE'S HERE. I jumped up and down for a few seconds getting all the excitement out instead of in front of him. I walked over to the door calmly and opened it letting Niall in. 

"Hi." He said awkwardly. 

"Hi Niall." I said just as awkward. 

"You look amazing in that dress." 

"You don't look too bad yourself." I was trying my best to lessen the awkwardness in the room. He smiled and held out his arm.

"Why don't we get going?"

"Sounds great." With both of us smiling I yelled to my mom telling her I would be back soon, we walked out to the car. 

"So where are we going?" I asked NIall as he started the car.

"It's a surprise!" Niall said laughing a little to himself.

"Oh come on! Tell me!" 

"No, you'll have to wait."

"Don't make me threaten you." I said with a smirk. 

"What do you mean threaten?" He asked looking over at me.

"I have some pretty embarrissing pictures of you.. and there's plenty of social media pages I could post them on.. I'm just saying." 

"You're bluffing. No. You wouldn't" 

"Oh but I think I would." 

"Okay okay fine. I'll tell you. We're going to an Ed Sheeran concert!" 

Ed Sheeran. Wow. I've always wanted to go to one before but I've never been able to get tickets. This is going to be amazing. Ed Sheeran, three boys of One Direction AND my two best friends? How could this night get any better?

We talked the whole car ride without another awkward moment. When we arrived to the venue I saw Harry's Range Rover to my right and another car to my left. We walked inside meeting up with Morgan and Liam at the door. The four of us walked through the door and was surprised to see Ed Sheeran sitting on a couch with Casey and Harry. The two lovebirds were holding hands and practically on top of each other with their eyes closed while Ed was singing a song quietly. I tried to determine what song it was and realized it was 'This'. That's one of my favorite songs. It was so romantic. 

We all walked in and said our hellos and then were escorted to the seats. Considering it was an Ed Sheeran concert I can guarentee we weren't going to be using those seats. They were about the fourth row and smack dead center. Tonight is going to be amazing.
