"When you trust somebody you can rely on them,and it can lead to a happy mindset" Jungwon stated out while giving the students his genuine smile.
"Yes,so always remember don't trust others to quickly,it takes time to develop trust,don't be to impatient" Joyce showed the enthusiastic side of her,which is very pleasing to see.
"Thank you" they both bowed infront of the 56 paired up college students.
All students clapped loudly some were shouting and some were banging on their table.
"Thank you Jungwon and Joyce,That was Wonderful and all what you said was accurate" our teacher smiled and told them to go back to their perspective seats.
"Now may we call on The last pair who are gonna present their answers"
"Jay and Mika Please go infront"
The pressure was on us since we were the last ones,my heart was pounding,hands are shaky and palms are sweaty,i was panicking also.
Some students we're excited when it was our turn to present but me on the other hand is nervous.
While we were walking all eyes are piercing through our souls.Some were intimidating and some not.
I walked beside jay as he nudged my shoulder.
"We're gonna do good..trust me" he winked and i just chuckled at return and that somehow made me feel a little bit of ease.
We prepared a lot for this because we wanted to win badly.
While we are infront,i was just looking at the crowd of students who were seating peacefully on their desk and ready to listen to our answers attentively.
Before we start i saw Jake,Sam and Jungwon who were rooting for us.
I smiled at them and sighed.
One mistake and you're screwed Mika.
"You may start now Mr.Park and Ms.Sim" our teacher looked at us.
I gulped.
Here goes nothing.
"We think trust isn't just..important in love..we both think that it's essential and a necessity when loving a person sincerely" I started off as i looked at jay who was nodding his head and eyes who were telling me not to be so nervous.My anxiety faded when i looked at his eyes.
"We ourselves haven't experienced being in love yet..but we did realize one thing.." he breathed deeply before continuing.
"That there is a procedure on getting trust..you can't just get it by talking and bonding but that is few of the ways..you can't get it by having one deep conversation either...but you can get it by 300 fun and enjoyable conversations" he smiled at the students who were looking at him curiously.Curious about what is gonna happen next.
"What we are saying is you don't have to share something deep or private to get trust..usually when you trust a person you don't even realize it..you eventually realize it..that wow this person is so reliable and trustworthy" I quoted off.
"..And earning trust is about all the things that you've been through..he or she will never leave nor betray you and the importance in that is you create a healthy and strong relationship that will last as long..or should i say more than you could ever imagine..that's all that we can share and gathered for you all and I hope all of you learned and apply something with our little talk" he concluded it with his most passionate and attractive smile,he acted like he was just talking to someone he was comfortable with,I didn't even feel any sign of nervousness from him.
We bowed and thank the students and the teachers for listening till the end.
My classmates didn't just clapped their hands they stood up while clapping their hands.
Jake,Sam and Jungwon smiled brightly at the both of us while jake held up a thumbs up indicating that we did a good job.
Both of us let our hearts out on our speech like answers,our initial goal was to present our answers in a formal and professional way.
"Wow..Impressive,both of you.." our teachers got impressed,they all nodded their heads and continued to judge the list of all of the students answers.
We went back to our seats to be greeted by a squealing Samantha.
"Wah..you two,you guys did a very good job" she put her arms in both of our shoulder and smiled at us.
Jake went to his Little friend first instead of me,he messed with Jay's hair and complimented him.
While Jungwon sat down beside me.
"You did a really good job" Jungwon patted my hair and gave me a sweet smile.
"Thank you" i smiled back at him.
"Students pay attention" the principal shouted which made everyone silently went back to their seats to listen.
"Some of you did well" he said plainly.Our principal was known to be strict and cold aswell,he easily gets disappointed especially on our class.
"And I felt some of the answers were rushed..I'm not stating out names..it's for all of you to find out and for me to fail" the students gasp and groaned.
"You may leave now and take this day as your rest day and tomorrow you will find out the winners for this event" he grabbed his files and our answers.
"The representative judge teachers will judge this..thank you for your cooperation and thank you for today" he bowed and went out our room like nothing happened.
We all stood from our seats and got ready to leave.
"Mika any plans today? Jay Went to my seat while i was still fixing my belongings.
"Not really..why? I finished packing up my stuffs and i grabbed my bag,placed it on my shoulders then moved on.
"Can we go somewhere? He asked while we're walking out of the school gate.
"Why? I raised my brow.
"Is it bad if i say...that..t-that..i want to be with you" He looked down and scratched his nape.
