Mika POV

Today is Friday i just got back home from School a couple of hours ago and I have nothing else to do,i finished my homework already,it's almost night time tho.

So i decided to annoy my bestie,why not!...i called her without telling her any warning,knowing sam she hates it whenever someone calls her without her knowing.

"Hey bestie how are you doing" i tried to annoy her and heck yeah she was very annoyed i saw it in her face..she gave me the "what the heck is wrong with you" look.

"I hate you" she said without any hesitation.

I smirked and asked her "Why..were you doing something?

"No..but still" i rolled my eyes and we continued to annoy each other.

After a while i heard my parents fighting,it's normal for them to fight but not this bad.

My curious ass decided to eavesdrop,i waved goodbye to Sam and then i hide by the stairs.

When I hid by the stairs i got the worst information that I known in my life.

Now i know,i was the reason of their fight...

"Hey you're daughter wasn't actively listening earlier,her teacher told me...that girl is useless...leave her she's so pathetic! My dad shouted in front of my mother,i was shaking so hard and my body got tense and hot.

My mother got shocked but she didn't hesitate to fight back. "I won't leave our daughter..she's perfect just the way she is...she's not useless also..if someone here is useless it's you...leave us if you want! My mom responded and pushed my dad,she was trying to defend me,i felt guilty for not loving my mother enough.

I always thought that my mother hated me because she just wouldn't accept my relationship with jay.

"If that's what you want"My dad shouted and left,he slammed the door causing my mom to flinch.

"He never even treated me as his wife" my mom uttered to herself while sniffling.

Slowly going down to the cold floor.

I saw my mom there she is on her knees she was crying so much,too much to be percise.

I embraced her with an hug and she cried on my shoulders.

"H-he cheated on me..while he was going home I saw his phon-" my mom said while still crying heavily.

I cut her off "It's ok mom..we didn't need him anyways" my dad always gamble he used our money just to gamble and spend it on the most useless and dumb items.

We both sat on the couch still frustrated about the current event.

"Let's move on...Mika...I'm gonna cook for you your favorite steak" my mom smiled widely trying to lighten the mood.

I nodded and smiled back then we both laughed.

I can't refuse to steak,Cmon I mean it's steak who doesn't like steak.

If you don't like steak well it's your loss.

I was at my bed,i felt really tired and sleepy.

I ate a lot of food today,I wasn't used to it.

My mom always tells me that our cat eats more than me...well it was true.

I decided to Sleep early tonight,i said goodnight to Jay's baby picture on my vanity since that's the only picture of him that I have.

I never forget to say good night nor good morning to his picture,it's part of my routine.

But before I sleep i decided to write something in my diary first.

Dear diary

Friday night,
Today was a Really rough day,first my teacher caught me day dreaming again and then Sam is now suspicious of what was I day dreaming of,
And then my father left us...what a great day right.

February 12,2021.

I slept comfortably without thinking all of the stuff that happened today so I could have a fresh start tomorrow.
