Senior Ben was already with me and we are currently discussing if we're going to edit the raw video recording of their interview at his apartment—if I am fine with it, or if we can do it the next day—when Henry came back with his face being dried now, he even changed his blue-faded long sleeve to a plain maroon printed t-shirt. We looked straight into each other's eyes for a brief moment before he quietly sat beside Senior Ben. I eyed him for a second, thinking if he's going to say anything, either to me or to Senior Ben, but he just kept himself busy with his phone and even put on his headset to his ear, leaving me and Senior Ben talking to each other. I agreed on Senior Ben's proposal to edit the files later at his apartment since I'm free anyway and I guess, I don't want to go home just yet right after this event. Also, the reason why I brought my laptop with me today was due to Senior Ben, he asked me before if I had a laptop, if yes, he instructed me to bring it with me today, and guess this is where I'm going to be using it for. Once we were done discussing everything, Senior Ben turned his attention to Henry who still had his headset on his ear.
"You changed your outfit, something happened?
"Not at all, just—feel like changing it," Henry replied absent-mindedly and directed his gaze at me.
"Hmmm, I see," Senior Ben nodded and turned off his laptop and camcorder, "ah yes, do you want to come with us later, right after this event, to edit our interviews?"
"No, I'll go straight home today or have fun somewhere. I'm done with my part for today, so no need for me to come with 'you' guys," Henry emphasized the word 'you as if he was referring it to me, "I'll tell Maximus later that we're done with the task."
"Okay, tell him that I'm going to edit it later and maybe send them the final output, either tonight or tomorrow if not busy." Senior Ben added before asking us if we wanted to hang around the event venue and enjoy some of the programs till it finishes.
I'm up for it, I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible since I can sense Henry's foul mood towards me ever since he came back from the restroom, even though he's not directing it to me openly. Henry suggested that he's going to be a lone wolf for now and going to enjoy the event with himself, leaving Senior Ben and me as he stood up and took his bag from the chair, and disappeared from our view immediately. Senior Ben let out a small sigh and just said that he only wanted the three of us to enjoy the event today, but it seems like it will never get to happen, instead, he gave me his usual smile and issued me to follow him once more. We came back again to our temporary locker since it is inside the premises and was only a few meters away from where we ate, put our things back in again, and strode our way to the main venue hallway.
I talked with Senior Ben about a lot of different topics as we glided our way around the venue, not even the booming sounds of the background music coming from the sound system being played around the venue could hinder our conversation as I got to know him more a little; as a matter of fact, he's twenty years old this year, just celebrated it twenty-three days ago since his birthday was 2nd of January. His height is 191.8 cm and I am hoping he won't get any taller than this, please. And a piece of much more basic information about him, the bread that he picked during lunch break, Focaccia, is his favorite bread. Aside from that, Senior Ben hasn't talked that much about the job that I am applying for from them. He refrained from leaking info's about it and just said that they're going to surprise me this coming Monday, which is for another day since today is Saturday.
I agreed on it and didn't say that much anymore. We stopped by at different booths within the event venue and even won some basic prizes from it like some cute simple red hat, a signature brand pen, some chocolate bars, and candies. When I suddenly looked at our event brochure that had the schedule and information about what's going on today. It indicated that there's a guest band performing later, and when I found out who they'd it be, I gawked at it and even squealed like an idiot.
