5 minutes had gone by. Everyone had reunited in the mission room. Carol walked over towards Wanda while y/n sat down next to Pietro. Y/n silently stared at the two girls across the room, jealousy over cane her. I don't even know why I feel like this. We aren't even dating. I can't date her, it's not allowed. It's stupid, she should be allowed to date whom ever she wants. If she likes Carol she should date her. Not going to lie I don't even think Wanda's gay so Carol might be making a fool of herself. Fingers crossed Wanda's straight so that Carol can look like and idiot. I much rather find out Wanda's straight than see her and Carol dating. Y/n thought.

Y/n was so in her own world that she didn't realise that everyone else had left the mission room leaving her and Pietro to remain. "Hey y/n. Are you okay? You haven't been yourself recently. I'm here if you want to talk or something?" Pietro said to y/n sympathetically. "Yeah I'm fine" she replied bluntly. Y/n looked up into Pietro's eyes to reassure him that she was okay and for him not to worry. "Oi love birds let's go! Save the eye gazing for after the mission." Thor called out towards them. "Wow, real creative Thor, real creative." Y/n said clapping her hands slowly. "Ha ha so funny" Pietro added sarcastically. Both y/n and Pietro got up from the chairs and headed to the ship that was waiting for them to aboard.

*a while later*

They had landed in Nashville. Y/n got up to get off the ship but nobody else moved. "What you all waiting for?" She asked. "You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off." Steve said. Of course we always have to wait for blondie to say his little before mission speech, it's so annoying and time consuming honestly. Y/n thought. "Right... let's get this show on the road!" Tony called out making all the avengers get up and pile off the ship.

Y/n, Nat, Wanda and Carol all enter the building slowly being cautious of what was inside. They were on the ground floor when Nat explained to the rest of them what was going on. "So according to Fury the man in charge or running this hydra base is supposedly on the top floor. Me and Wanda will go to the top floor, y/n and Carol you'll be going round looking for files or information on the man in charge and hydra itself. Be careful and always stay together." Nat told them. Ugh.. I have to be partnered with Carol, come on. Nat why you gotta do me like that? Y/n thought then rolled her eyes. "You got a problem with that y/n?" Nat asked sternly. Y/n shook her head vigorously then walked off dragging Carol behind her.

Y/n and Carol found some files on hydra. Most of the information they already knew but they downloaded the files onto a hard drive just in case. Meanwhile, Nat and Wanda were on the top floor and couldn't find a single soul so they went up to the roof. They saw a dark figure inches away from the building edge with its back towards the two girl. The girls stopped at the end of the stair case and decided to walking towards the figure they believed to be the man in charge. "Who are you? Are you the guy who's meant to be in charge? What are you trying to do?" Nat yelled at the figure. The figure not moving, still looking out towards the city and back still turned towards the girls, said "I think you know me, I think you don't." The figure paused. "Am I friend? Or am I for?" He paused again. "You can trust me! Or can you?" The figure questioned again. "I know you have questions, questions I won't answer so I'll leave you wondering." The figure said in an unrecognisable voice almost as if it was altered with some sort of device. "What do you want?" Wanda asked as she made balls of red with her powers. The figure didn't answer it just slowly turned around, their face hidden by a ski mask.

Carol and y/n were a few floors below arguing about who found the information first. Bang! A gun shot goes off but y/n doesn't hear it so carries on with the argument. However Carol did hear it so she stopped talking and turned her head towards where the gun shot was coming from. "Y/n, did you hear that?" Carol asked. "Come on stop messing with me, your just trying to distract me so that you can grab the file out of my hand." Y/n said unconvinced by Carol question. "So seriously, it sounded like a gun shot." She said. "Yeah I bet you did." Y/n replied sarcastically. Suddenly, a second gun shot went off and both of the girls turned their head towards the stair case.
