Chapter 02
THAT ONE COFFEE GUY!"JIN-WOO, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Pure concern was in (L/n) (M/n)'s voice as he held Jin-Woo in his arms, protecting him from all the scattered debris. Jin-Woo's head felt numb, staring at his elder's face as he laid on the road. It felt so hazy, like he was drunk.
"Jin-Woo!" (M/n) screamed, hugging him tightly as car lights lit up the dark road. What was going on? He couldn't tell from how fast it all went. But Jin-Woo felt anger from the faint smell of (M/n)'s blood and scratches on his hands.
How horrible.
Jin-Woo clutched on the black jacket, anger boiling in his chest. (M/n) didn't take off his helmet, but Jin-Woo could tell from his erratic breathing that it terrified him. He hated seeing the elder like this, and he despised the perpetrator even more.
A car sped through and ignored the traffic lights—hitting their motorcycle. In that moment, (M/n) brought Jin-Woo with him and jumped out into the road—getting his scratches from the rough pebbles and pavement.
"Oi, ya little shit! Get off the road!"
The driver honked twice, as if mocking (M/n)'s injuries and Jin-Woo's attempts for comfort. "Jin-Woo, are you really okay? I'm really sorry.. I didn't mean to.." (M/n) tried to breathe, leaning his head on Jin-Woo's shoulder—his own tears falling on his helmet's windshield.
(L/n) (M/n)'s pleas nearly shattered Jin-Woo's heart. It wasn't his fault at all. In fact, he was trying to be nice and bring Jin-Woo home. It was just ruined by this asshole who decided to crash into them.
Stupid.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Did they want to kill (M/n)?
If only Jin-Woo were stronger...
He would've killed that reckless driver.
Sung Jin-Woo gripped tighter on the fabrics of (M/n)'s shirt, panting with his own rising anger. He glared at the driver, wishing to just strangle that man and curse him to death. He just really hated it. It was annoying, revolting, disgusting.
How horrible.
He took one more look at his senior, eyes softening as he patted his back. People were just stupid. They were absolute idiots for not knowing Sunbae's worth, to even scream at him after almost taking his life.
"Jin-Woo, do you need to go to the hospital now? Does anything hurt? Tell me now. I'll call an ambulance if you need it.."
"Sunbae, you should worry about yourself.. You're bleeding."
"But I am.." (M/n) looked down for a moment, distracting himself by worrying more about his companion. "It doesn't matter right now! I promised to get you home safe," (M/n) declared, holding on to Jin-Woo's shoulders.
"Tsk tsk tsk! You're taking too long! It's irritating!!" the driver shouted, pressing on his horn multiple times. He clicked his tongue, sending a hateful stare towards the pair. "Aah, kids these days. Can't you see when a car is in front of you, hah?"
