"How long do I have to wait just to see the result of this?!" I said in an undertone.

I don't even know how to use this thing! Well, thank god there's instruction.

Even though I was nervous, I tried to encourage myself. My heart beats faster. I can't breath normally as I hold this tiny thing in my hand. My mind full of negative and positive thoughts, I can't even think properly.

TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG!

I heard footsteps coming towards me, I immediately hid in the bag the pregnancy test I was holding.

*Knock! Knock!*

"Are you okay? Do you need help? What do you want me to do?" He asked which made me even more nervous.

"A-Ah? Y-Yes!" I answered. "U-Uhm? Can you buy me a n-napkins? Please?" I added.

Instead of asking what is napkin, he just say..

"Yes babe! Wait for me, Okay?" He answered.

I heard his footsteps running away.

I sighed. When I made sure he was gone I immediately took the pregnancy test out of the bag. My eyes widened and I even covered my mouth when I saw the result. I even tried to slap myself to check if I am just dreaming but, no.

Suddenly, my tears welled up in my eyes, as if time had stopped. I couldn't hear anything around me, all I could hear was the pounding of my heart. My knees are trembling, my hands were shaking but still I managed to hide the pregnancy test in my bag again.

It's...

"IT'S POSITIVE!"

TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG

I.. I am pregnant!!

I look again at the pregnancy test and now.. is the moment of the truth! I stopped myself from making any noise. I want to shout and tell that I am pregnant!

But..

"W-What am I going to do? H..How?" I asked to myself.

Sasabihin ko ba agad? O isusurprise ko na lang sa kaniya? Matutuwa kaya siya?

My nervousness revived when I heard footsteps coming towards me and I know it's him. I stood on the toilet seat and looked in the mirror. I immediately see the changes in my face especially the forming eyebags under my eyes. I'm obviously look tired but I am happy inside! Sobrang saya ko na buntis ako! Finally!

*Knock! Knock!*

"Babe? Here's your napkin pads." He said. I could feel the overwhelming concern in the tone of his voice.

Damnit! Parang gusto ko siyang i-hug agad then sabihin na buntis ako!

I opened the door a little and released one of my hands. He grabbed my hand and suddenly kissed it then handed over the tampon.

I could feel the warmth of his lips as he kissed the back of my hand. I bit my lower lip, holding back from screaming because he might get panic. I closed my eyes, still trying to think if I'm going to tell this to him or not.

"Just tell me if you need anything else, okay?" He said in a worried voice.

I didn't answer but closed the door immediately. I leaned against the door and slowly sat on the floor. Halos maubos na ang kuko ko sa kakangatngat ko. Nakakakaba, hindi ko alam kung anong magiging reaction niya.

I couldn't stand properly because my knee was weakening with the thoughts playing in my mind. I covered my mouth with both of my hands, I couldn't stop myself from screaming. So, I scream but without voice.

Ghad! This making me crazy!

Bumuntong-hininga ako at muling tumayo. Tinignan kong muli ang sarili ko sa salamin ng nakangiti. Sa huli ay napagdesisyunan ko na sasabihin ko sa kaniya na magkakababy na kami. Pinagpapawisan ang mga palad ko ganun rin ang likod ko.

Marahan akong lumapit sa pinto at pinihit iyon pabukas.

Nakita ko siyang nakasandal sa pader. Hindi mawala ang ngiti sa mukha ko, tuloy ay tinitignan niya ako ng may pagtataka. Sabay kaming naupo sa upuan at nagkatitigan pa ng ilang minuto.

"I have something to tell you." Sinabi namin ng sabay tuloy ay naghalakhakan kami.

"Sige ikaw muna." Sabi niya pero umayaw ako.

"Nah! You first." Sabi ko sa kaniya ng may ngiti pa rin sa labi.

He sighed deeply and hold my hands. Ang lamig ng mga kamay niya pati tuloy ako ay giniginaw.

"You know how much I love you, right?" He asked. Nagpatango-tango naman ako bilang pagsang-ayon. "That's why, I'm telling you this.." He added.

"I'm.." Pagputol niya. Mukhang nagdadalawang isip pa siya kung itutuloy niya ba o hindi.

"You.. what?" Tanong ko ng may pagtataka pero naroon pa rin ang ngiti sa aking labi.

"I'm getting married.."

Napabitaw ako sa pagkakahawak niya sa kamay ko. Nawala ang ngiti sa labi ko, parang tumigil ang mundo ko. Wala na. Wala na lahat ng pangarap ko para sa ating dalawa dahil ikakasal ka na pala sa iba.
