The door of the shellraiser opened, it was dark and the smell was awful. "Oh my God, what is that smell? Where are we?" I asked. Everyone looked at each other, "Who's gonna tell her?" Mikey whispered to Donnie. Donnie sighed and rolled his eyes. "We're in the sewers dude." Casey said, grabbing his baseball bat and throwing it over his shoulder with a smirk. I raised my eyebrow at him, "Really?" "Don't worry, you'll get used to it." April laughed, nudging my unwounded shoulder with hers.

We made our way out of the shellraiser, entering an abandoned subway station. April guided me through the worn out subway entrance and into the lair. There were couches and bean bags chairs with a retro TV with a VHS player, an extremely beat up punching bag, arcade games, and a tire swing. April guided me to a seat on the couch, grabbed some bandages and began to patch up my wound, causing me to wince. "Sorry." she spoke quietly, not taking her focus away from wrapping my arm. I examined the lair, Leo was standing next to the couch on the phone with the pizza place while everyone else scattered to do their own thing. I watched as Raph walked to his room, slamming the door. Leo sighed as he hung up the phone, "Can't take him anywhere." he groaned and he sat himself next to me on the couch. I sat there and fiddled with my hands. "All done!" April said happily as she packed the leftover bandages back in the first aid box. "Leo!" Mikey exclaimed and he threw himself onto a beanbag chair, "You order the pizza dude?" "Yes Mikey." Leo assured. "Jelly bean and anchovy?" Mikey asked, staring into his comic. "No, just pepperoni for our guest." Leo said, giving me a smile. "Thank you." I smiled back.

Casey had just come back from getting the pizza. "Mikey, can you tell Raph the pizza's here?" Leo asked. "Sure thing dude." Mikey said and he jumped up and ran to Raph's door. Leo and Donnie both grabbed a slice and began to eat. Mikey ran back and grabbed another slice, scarfing it down in one bite. I stared down at my slice, took a small bite and looked over to see Raph stomping towards us, stopping to hit the punching bag on his way. He grabbed his slice and sat on the other bean bag chair furthest away from the couch. "What's your problem Raph?" Leo interrogated. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe because this random girl is still here!" He yelled angrily. "She's here because she was hurt from our fighting, and she's a friend of April's." Leo argued. Raph stood from his seat in fury, "Well guess what Leo, last time April here brought a friend it caused an alien invasion!" Everyone's eyes went wide, staring at Raph. I looked around awkwardly, "Alien invasion?" Everyone turned to look at me. "Shit." Raph groaned as he put his face in his hands. Everyone sighed. "Maybe you should take a minute to cool off." Leo told Raph sternly. Raph groaned in anger and stormed off back to his room. Mikey began to speak, "So we're ignoring the fact that Raph just exposed the Kraang inva- OW!" He was interrupted by a slap in the head from Donnie. Leo sighed, "Well, now you know." he said putting his face in his palm. "I... won't ask." I assured, "Knowing giant turtles exist makes aliens seem normal." Casey laughed "You got that right dude!" he began to laugh even harder, almost to where he couldn't breathe. Casey's laughing caused me to laugh, then April and Leo. Soon we were all laughing together. Being with them made me feel normal, in a weird way. I went to check the time on my phone, but it had died. "I knew I should've charged my phone." I sighed. "Don't worry, it's only ten." April said as she looked at her phone. "I think I should head home soon." I replied. "Awe come on new girl, hang out a little. You've been so tense dude." Casey whined. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Leo stood up and motioned to the arcade game in the corner, "Come on, see if you can beat the best player here." I decided to play. The hours passed like minutes. All of us were just hanging out, eating pizza, and talking about their past experiences with aliens, robots, and even other mutants. I didn't even realize that I had fallen asleep until I woke up the next morning.
