The Shadow's Ghost

Training day

  You wake up early as always and see a map displayed on your screen which is integrated into the wall. It's 05:30 and training begins at 06:00. You check the map and see the training room is just down the hall. "Why not get a headstart?" You say to yourself and exit your room.

             Wraith POV
  I'm up early getting ready for training like always. I walk to my door. "He's outside." The voices tell me. "Who is?" I open the door and slam into Y/N falling on top of him.

                Your POV
  You're on the ground with Wraith laying awkwardly on top of you. She gets up and quickly stomps off to the training room and you follow suit. You enter the training room and see a wall of weapons. Some dummies and a simulation room booth surrounded by bulletproof glass. Wraith grabs an r99 and a wingman then heads to the sim booth.

  "Easy, normal, hard, expert, or impossible?" A P.A. voice asks Wraith.

  "Expert." Wraith states and enters as the glass slides open. Multiple DUMMIES spawn with weapons and begin shooting at her. She fires back killing 2 then phases behind ome and stabs it before gettin shot in the back of her head and going limp.

  "Simulation fail. Respawning, Wraith." The P.A. announces and wraith walks out of a metal door next to the sim booth.

  "Damnit."

   You pick up a wingman and a peacekeeper then head to the sim booth.

  "Eas-"

  "Impossible." You say before it can finish and step through. Wraith scoffs behind you.

  "Good luck, no way you last 3 seconds." She has a smirk on her face and as you move to flip her off 15 DUMMIES spawn and open fire as some pieces of cover spawn in.

  You duck down behind a low barrier. "It's been 3 seconds." You say with a smirk at the angry huff she lets out. A dummie rolls next to you and you put 1 round right where it's eye would have been. You stand up just long enough to let off 3 more shots into more dummie's heads.

  11 left. You switch to your PK and peak long enough to nail 1 in the chest and repeat 4 times. 6. When you reload and peak you're met with a fist to your mouth, knocking you into the glass behind you. You shoot the dummie that hit you and spit blood on the floor. "Prick." 5 left. You look around and see 1 up on a big rock and shoot it in the throat with your wingman. You activate your tactical as the remaining 4 open fire. You run as fast as you can with your talon drawn amd slit their throats.
  "Simulation complete. Good job, Shadow." The door slides open and you exit to see all the legends watching and Wraith's jaw on the floor.

Your expression grows even more smug when octane screams loud enough for his parents to hear on psamathe. "HOLY SHIT AMIGO THAT WAS AWESOME!" He runs up to you and claps your shoulder. "I wish I could do that."
 
  You chuckle and return your weapons to their homes. "Alright everyone, time for some cqc, I'll choose your sparring partners line up." Bangalore announces and all the legends comply. "Any volunteers for first up?" You rause your habd and step forward. "Shadow is it? You're first. Let's see, you can fight-"

  "I wanna fight him." Wraith steps forward with a glare. "See what he can do." She cracks her neck and her expression indicates that she wants far more than to 'see what you can do.'

  Bangalore flashes a thumbs up and you head to the sparring ring. "No weapons, no shots below the belt, no hair pulling or scratching, and no outside help. Understand the rules?" You both nod and get into a foghting stance. "Good, fight." She drops her hand between the two of you.
 
  Wraith dashes toward you and slides past your punch aimed for her ribs. You feel her sweep your legs before you can react and she drives her knee for your face but you block and grab her leg, yanking her down with you. As you attempt to drive a blow to her stomach she disappears and you hit the floor instead. You hear something behind you and drove your elbow up and back, hitting wraith directly under her ribs. She stumbles, giving you the opportunity to drive a haymaker into her ribs causing her to stumble left, right into your punch at her jaw. She falls over and gets up immediately. You see a flash in her hand as she lunges for your face before you can react you feel blood drip down your cheek.

  "That bitch." You mumble and get into a stance to disarm her. We're not supposed to use weapons are we? You thought as she sliced your shin while you were distracted. You turn to her and catch her arm next time she strikes. She disappears again and the knife goes with her. You hear a sound to your left and spin driving your fist into the bridge of her nose. Her kunai hits the ground with a klang and Gibraltar grabs her.

  "Okay okay, that's enough."

  He pulls her back as she growls. "I'm gonna kill em!" She drops her hand to reveal blood pouring from her broken nose.

  "Sorry." You say and pick up her knife. "This is an excellent piece of craftsmanship." You slip it into her hand and step out of reach to retrieve a med kit. You walk back to her and begin applying it to the arm that isn't trying to stab you. "I didn't mean to break it, only make you back up." You say as the med kit finishes. You walk to sit on the bench as Bangalore assigns the next fight.
