I was in a dream. This was the first time in thirteen years.

The date was January 13, 1938. A day after my 11th birthday.

I saw the hills and the buildings. All of which were familiar. The day I last saw my love.

The sun was setting, and I saw two people holding hands sitting on a roof. One boy the other a girl.

A girl who had a smile as bright as the sun. Her eyes still filled with wonder, her light brown hair flying through the air. Her light skin shined as we faced the sun, and her arm band with her star symbolizing that she was a Jew fluttering with pride, rather than fear. Her name was Annie Maria Rose.

The boy was me.

I (the younger me) held her hand as we watched the water of the ocean flow pass the docks. I shed a tear for this was the place where I last saw her. The place where she left for England. Her home country.

"Anne, I will find you through a hundred lives, and through a thousand more."

'This is a flash back.' I thought to myself.

"You are correct Leon." Turned around once more. It was Liana.

"A while has it not? But it seemed that you have encountered one of the other god's choices."

"You mean the group of 4 other tanks? I was supposed to tell my crew about them but I ended up teaching them how to read. So I have a question. Why was it me who could read but not them, Liana?"

"That would be an accident. I forgot to give your crew the knowledge needed to read. But not for you atleast." Well atleast she gave me the information. Better late the never. I sighed.

"Last two questions. What type of goddess are you?"

"I am the goddess of the Aesir or simply known as Elf. Specifically I am the elven goddess of peace." Well time to interrogate Aether. And why did a goddess chose us a tank crew of a Tiger II. Let alone a goddess of peace. But there is a personal question I had t

Last one.

"Why did you choose the last day I saw Anne. The one I helped escape with her family. The one I loved, the one I risked everything for." I said in a surprisingly calm voice.

"You mean this girl? Well I thought it would have been a nice sun set. I expected her to be a friend not much, and besides I thought that you would like to see her one last time." I sighed.

She was right, even if it was a dream. "May we now talk about what I wanted to talk about." I slowly walked towards her where a small table and two chairs had formed. When I sat onto my chair a cup has formed. "Sorry but no, thanks." The cup then simply disappeared. "I have news about your loved one. But I need you and your crew to do me a favour." I raised an eyebrow. "What else do you offer. If it was only me I would have happily accepted it, but you're asking me to order my crew, to do something for you."

"I know. My husband has given me news of your beloved, but she is not alone either. She too is a tank commander. She commands a British Mark VI Crusader. But to where she is, that information is something I will only give if you guys do this favor." I bit my lip.

"What are we going to do?" I asked. "Simple you all are to move east after your engagement with those 4 pesky tanks. They had been raiding my people's trade routes for a long time. What you with their lives, it is up to you and your crew. A god or goddess cant can't intervene directly or certain things are to happen. I wish you all luck, for after your battle I will give you your further "orders" should you agree to my request. As for your crew tell them that there is an allied tank there to help you if they go follow what I said."

But before I can ask more questions I woke up.
