" Mother! " A three-year-old mermaid began to swam faster as she hugged her mom tightly while giggling, " You're home! "
" My little Erza.. You are safe and I'm very glad to see you well.. " A mother figure looking just like her mother with scarlet hair as she smiled, this is Queen Irene Belserion Scarlet who rules the widest ocean.
" I made some coral necklaces for you while you are gone! " Erza smiled as she put the necklace to her mom, " How is your trip to the Lands Of The Above..? "
" Chaotic and messy.. Somehow they eat their pets there too.. " Mom disgusted as she winked poking her daughter's nose, " So eat your veggies.. "
The queen with her beautiful daughter took to the Sea Ancient Garden having their privacy while they play together bonding as they make up with their time. Holding their scaly hands while resting from the rock formation bench, Queen Irene admired her daughter reaching a handmade comb seashell to brush Erza's scarlet blood hair significance to the heir and symbol of royalty to their family generation.
" My little Erza.. Are you aware of our kingdom's state today..? " The queen asked as Erza looked down fiddling her fingers.
" The relationship between ours to the Lands Of the Above where there are other kingdoms..? " Erza asked back as her mother nodded worriedly.
" Yes, the Land Of The Above is such a dangerous place where their kind wasn't given equal treatment like us merfolk.. Once I retire as queen, you will reign this kingdom and lead our fellow Oceanians.. " Irene explained as Erza look behind as her mother showed her worries.
" Do not worry mother, as I rule the kingdom I will fight in deepest sands and grounds where humans above wouldn't trespass to the shores.. " The young Erza smiled as the queen only giggled.
The Kingdom of Atlanta where it spread rumors and legend of its power from the royal family controlled and holds the depths of all sea and storms in the deck of Fiore. Scarlet hair represents the essence of the God of Seas' blood knowing the lie beneath their wrath and lack of protection for their merpeople, yet somehow the symbol of the royal color of the hair could cause a curse where it is forbidden to even speak of that once a mermaid falls in love with someone and laid her eyes to whoever is bound to be together like fate is sealed. Somehow the scarlet-colored hair only possesses the royal blood of a mermaid, if ever the last scarlet dies the worse possible that oceans and seas would bring destruction, continuous storms as whirlpools would summon as sea creatures would be in danger. The iconic trident where holds the power but that is not correct for it holds the Queen's spear which the God of Seas offers the strength from its power.

The spear's tip covers the blade with crystals that came from the roots of the kingdom's source of light and energy with its stick covered with gold. The spear has been passed down from generation to generation that no one ever betrays or holds this weapon for thousands of years, but there are rules to hold the spear.
The young Erza began to learn and grow as she became one of the strongest fighters in all the sea, each guard even some of the elites sparred the princess but lost and defeated they faced in the end. As the queen watches her daughter she knew in battles and war Erza will always be victorious making their kingdom safe. Erza became fifteen to eighteen where she is now available to go outside the kingdom to explore and to the Lands Of The Above but somehow her mother forbids the princess from going to the surface.
" Mother, I'm eighteen and I have the right to go to the surface on my own. I would like to see what is up there and it's something that I should experience.. " Erza demanded her mother sitting on the throne holding the spear.
" Even if you are allowed, I can't help but worry for your safety.. You do know you are too important and you need to stay here.. " The queen replied calmly as she stared down to her daughter filled with rage.
" That is unfair! Somehow you can go to the surface and I can't?!" Erza screamed as she holds the spear pointing to the queen which the guards began to point the weapon at her to contain her actions.
" Erza please understand.. Maybe sometime once you get to the surface with me or with a bodyguard.. " Queen Irene said as Erza left her swimming and ignoring her mother's words.
Two mermaids followed Erza, Juvia and Gray who knew that the princess might go berserk or planning yo run away from the kingdom of Atlanta. Erza knew she is being followed so she planned on doing it at midnight where everyone is asleep, so she started on packing and looking around the castle ground by the window where guards lurk to protect the main hall entrance. She stopped from the garden so did her followers and Juvia began to tap her shoulders worrying what is she thinking right no, either to rebel her mother.
" Juvia thinks Queen Irene has a point.. " Juvia murmurs as Erza completely ignored her statement moving away as her tail flapped angrily.
" Erza, we know that the surface has been in war for years and it might still happen you know.. " Gray gets closer trying to talk out with Erza but no response.
" Juvia feels that Erza wants some time alone.. " Juvia said to Gray as he only sighed.
" We will be going your highness.. please consider and understand your mother's wish.. " Gray said as the both of them left Erza alone in the garden.
Erza looked up to the sea glitter seeing the blurry sun closing her eyes wanting to go to the surface and feel what is like to be in the Land of the Above, to understand their nature and what truly differentiates their kingdom from the depth of the ocean below. She knew she had to see, and she is ready to run away tonight.
