~*Jellal's POV*~

I looked from the window gazing the people from below as they do their everyday life and roles in this kingdom to grow and nurture, within this castle walls and empty hallways boredom is always come to my mind. Hearing countless of lectures and studies that I do every day of the week adding more of that daily routine as a royal prince, I wonder what it will be for a great adventure someday from the seas. 

I heard a door knock from the main hall to the throne room where I met my friends, Natsu with his big brother Zeref from the Northern Lands Fiore and Gajeel from the Southern Plains Fiore also with Eric, Laxus, Mirajane, Elfman and more came to the castle.

" Happy Birthday to you Jellal! " Eric said patting my back so hard I almost fall to the floor while he let out a laugh.

" Funny the lover boy doesn't have his own princess yet.. " Laxus smirked as I chuckled from his statement.

" You never know it might happen at the ball and worry for your Queen Mira over there.. " I said as we both hugged.

" We aren't King and Queen yet Jellal.. " Mira giggled as Laxus wrapped his arm around her waist kissing her cheek.

" Yo Jellal!! " Natsu as he quickly jumped at me while I tackled him messing his hair.

" You rascal, childish as always.. " I replied as he laughed and wiggle to get off.

They are my friends from the International School of Royalties, knowing and learn about their lives seems better than mine knowing that my family is out there saving village to town which I missed them so much. Every 20th birthday of a prince or 18th birthday of a princess as well gets a grand ball with some chances that the prince or princess is going to marry a royalty, I never wanted to find a woman yet cause I have other plans before settling down with a girl I would fall in love.

Adventures and some explore around the world where there are some lands that are needed to be discovered sadly my father and mother's retirement which lead to continuation of my family's legacy to help out other village and towns across my kingdom.

" Please stop being a child Natsu.. " Zeref scratched his neck showing his worried face and shame from his little brother.

" How is your little sister Meredy? " Mira asked as I smiled.

" She is doing her archery class this afternoon.. You bring Wendy as well? " I looked at Zeref as he nodded.

" The ball will be great and amazing! We will check out some hot chicks and sexy princesses in your birthday next week~ " Eric smirked as I gave a hard smack on his head causing him to fall.

" You are worse than Sting you know.. " I murmured and glaring at him.

" At least I don't treat women like useless person in the society!! " Eric shouted as he rubbed his head.

" I don't get with boys treating us girls like some trash.. " Mira crossed her arms as I heard a burped coming from Cana Alberona, " A disgrace for their kingdomes and to the gods.. "

" That's because they wanted fame and power.. " Cana replied as she kept drinking some alcohol, " Jellal over here is one of the examples of powerful and famous Prince adored by all women in the kingdom.. "

" That doesn't mean anything at all.. Fame and power are some additions of what you are, you earn your right and worthy to be titled as one.. " I said as I let out a big sigh, " I wanna get out of this imprisonment I swear.. " 

" Once you are 20, we can go join some guild and explore with some missions! " Natsu said as he grin, " That way you are can look out to the world where monsters and bandits come so we can smack and fight them! "

" What Natsu is trying to say is obvious, saving some villagers and townsfolk.. " Zeref said as I smiled a little.

" I guess so.. " I looked around feeling something is missing, " Where's Lucy and Levy? "

" Bunny girl and shrimp are at the town I think.. I smell them when we were at the carriage.. " Gajeel said as he used a toothpick for his teeth, " With all that shopping i think.. "

" They will come around here at the castle too, Luce just want to walk around and thinking about that stupid marriage picking.. " Natsu pouted as he crossed his arms, " I mean Jellal ain't gonna marry Luce so fat you can't even carry her.. "

" Natsu! " Mira glared as he bowed apologizing, "Even if we never wanted that happen, rules are rules an they follow the laws of HIgh Orders to be part of the ball and be chosen by others besides, Lucy and Levy are having a bad time cause of what happened in the school selection for the Grand Magic Games this year.. "

" They are strong and I am sure that they can beat those crazy Sabertooth.. " Zeref replied as I heard a growl from Natsu.

" Why did those Magical Commission Council have to picked them out of all other members in our class guild.. " Natsu mumbled giving that angry look in his face with a hint of worry also.

" Natsu, we can't avoid the fact they need that reputation of worth to fight against other opponents, bringing out their capabilities and strength in order for them to protect their people and kingdom.. Lucy and Levy will be fine and I am sure they can survive.. " I explained which made him whine more until Gajeel began to gripped his collar looking at him.

" You think you are the only one worrying for your girl.. I myself can't help that shrimp is stuck with your girl knowing that both could be seriously get hurt or even dead from their situation!! " Gajeel stared as he pant pushing Natsu on the floor and gripping his hair letting out a frustration.

" Knowing those two dense idiots are mates with their girls, I can understand their feeling of worry and frustration.. " Cana said as the others agreed as well which I can only released a heavy sigh looked at them.
