Samantha's POV:
"From Lima, Ohio, The New Directions!" The announcer screamed.
I sighed. We were up first, and of course, Taylor and Joey get to take the lead.
They aren't even that talented.
Everyone else just snaps in the background while they sing a duet.
Ugh.
I file onto the stage and watch as the belt out some off key high notes.
The performance ends with a high screech from Taylor and a standing applause from the crowd.
Except, the attention doesn't feel as good as normal.
It makes me feel j-jealous?
Is that the word?
I strut off the stage.
"Fantastic job, guys!" Rachel high fived us all. "Taylor, great high note at the end there!"
"Thanks." She muttered off.
Gosh, she's so annoying!
At least I'll get to crush her at homecoming next week.
See, I'm favored to win, of course.
Unless that little priss pulls off something.
But, she won't.

<2 days later>
< 1 day till homecoming>
"Vote me! For your homecoming queen!" I grinned as I stood at my cupcake stand.
My posters were everywhere, my voice was loud.
You couldn't miss me.
Taylor pranced over to me.
"Sam-antha." She sneered at me.
I rolled my eyes. "What?"
"Just wanted to remind you about the fact that I'm running for homecoming queen." She smirked.
I snickered a bit. "Running and winning are two different things."
"And I'll be winning." She walked away.
That was like, the lamest comeback ever.

By the way, the video has nothing to do with the chapter, it's just there because I love it and I love the fact that KLAINE is married...legally! And okay, I know this wasn't that good of a chapter, but people have been asking me for chapters and I appreciate all comments and ideas...it's really a filler chapter...reminder that comments and likes make me write faster...especially comments!!
