after a short walk, you two arrive at a strange looking device.
"okay close your eyes or you'll get a headache. this might feel weird for a second i promise you'll be safe though."
you nod and suddenly you're in liyue. you stumble back in shock and then hu tao speaks up.
"aw come on it wasn't that bad! that was a teleport waypoint and it makes traveling a lot easier. most people dont know what they do, which is good because most common folk would probably get major side effects. i mostly only get a headache but thats pretty rare. anyways follow me, it's not far from here."
you walk alongside the girl you met and soak in the lovely scenery of the streets of the city. then she turns to you.
"so i didn't catch your name earlier, sorry i was just so excited about a potential client. anyways my name is Hu Tao! yours?"
"oh right about that.. i haven't decided on what to call myself. my story is a long one so we can save it for another day. but you can call me Y/N"
"Y/N.. i like that a lot! it suits you in a way." after that theres a brief silence, then she suddenly says, "here we are! the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor! lets get inside so i can pamper you! im really good at this kinda thing by the way. it might not look like it but i really enjoy giving people the special treatment they deserve. follow me this way."
you follow Hu Tao into into the bathroom and she sits you down in a chair. after studying you for a few minutes she says, "alright, let the spa day begin!"
she starts by picking out some sticks from your hair, then walks to a nearby cabinet and grabs a hairbrush.
"i don't know if this brush is the right one for your hair type, but it's all i have right now. we can go find one for you once i get the time."
with that she sections of your hair and starts brushing it out. then she brings you to the bathtub and tells you to bend down so your head is in the tub. she turns on the water and puts her hand through the flowing water to test the temperature. after a while, she puts the shower head to your scalp. it feels warm and soothing. then she gets the shampoo and massages it into your head.
"don't fall asleep on me now." she says with a giggle.
you can't help but soak up every second of this, because its such a nice change from camping out in the wild. after another hour or two you finish up your spa day and as you're about to look yourself in the mirror you feel a pair on dainty hands cover your eyes.
"hold your horses, i need to add a few finishing touches"
you feel something go behind your ear.
"okay now the grand reveal... tada!"
you open your eyes and see a beautiful woman staring back at you and hu tao looking proud behind you. theres a pink flower in your hair and this is the first you've ever seen yourself since becoming an adeptus.
"well since its getting late you can stay in the guest room" hu tao states.
"huh? but isnt this the funeral parlor?" you look at her, perplexed.
"of course silly! i live here too. now follow me."
you follow her to where you'll be staying for the night and she leaves you to explore the huge building. just as you were about to head back to your room for the night you bump into a man with a large build.
