Marichat kiss

A/N: awwwwww. Marichat 😄. I can't find out who did the picture... sorry 😔.

Marinette's POV:
"In fact, I couldn't be happier," Cat Noir smiles at me.
Huh? He didn't mind?
"But... you had a crush on me and I rejected you countless times. Aren't you mad?" I face the ground in embarrasment.
He touches my shoulder, "no, I don't mind. Why would anything change now? I loved the girl not only with the mask, but under the mask too. This doesn't change my feelings for you."

"But you never were interested in me as Marinette..."
"That was because I loved Ladybug. Even though she rejected me, I knew I'd always wait for her. Besides... do you remember that night when I needed cheering up?"
"Yeah..." where was he going with this?
"Well I might of formed a teeny weeny crush on you, but I pushed it down because I didn't want to mess up your life," he laughs a bit, "it was hard at school too sometimes. When you weren't looking I sometimes saw you."
... Adrien liked me at a point?
He smiles, "and I'll continue waiting for you but I know you love someone else. If you love someone else that's ok too, maybe I'll get over it eventually."

"Adrien I-I... I rejected you as Cat Noir because Adrien was the boy I loved."
"Huh," I let him sink it in, "so we've been missing each other the entire time?"
"Hehe, yeah, seems like it."

Then we stop talking. The breeze blows gently on my back. Suddenly I realise he's placing his hands gently around my waist. I look into his eyes...
"May I?" he asks.
Instead of answering I put my arms around his neck, then our faces slowly come together until they're only centimeters apart. My heart is going to burst out of my chest soon. I look at his beautiful emerald eyes before shutting my eyes tightly. Why is it so scary?

But then his lips touch mine and I relax. He pulls me closer and I feel comfortable and safe. The kiss starts off as a gentle but then we both push harder, wanting more of this strange delight. His fingers are now caressing my hair, I hold the back of his head. I feel his heart beating because I'm so close. The breeze can't touch the heat radiating off of us, the world around us fades away, it's just him and me.

Eventually we back away. Gasping for breath we smile at eachother.
"Does this mean we're dating?" Cat smiles.
"I think it does," I reply, I'm so happpppppyyyyyyyyyy.

"Awwwwww! That was friggin adorable!" I turn abruptly to see Alya with sparkles in her eyes, "pretend I'm not here, you may continue."

We all laugh. And then... Alya has a heart attack? Mari was joking all along? Adrien was secretly working for Hawk Moth? Max comes out of nowhere? Andre the ice cream man comes from nowhere with an ice cream? Anything? Go crazy people!
