Chapter 5

Sorrow

Jerry wakes up. Tom isn't beside him. He doesn't think much about it, and just thinks he got up to get water, or is sleeping in the waiting room because a nurse woke him up or something. 45 minutes pass and his innocent thoughts soon turn to worry. Tom is no where to be seen and he is very scared. "Maybe Tom got scared and left.." he thought. That thought turned to something he actually believed.

Jerry is now at his house with his daughter Cindy. He's been taking good care of her, and it's very stressful. Jerry had to stop stealing from people and got a job as a waiter at a cafe. He hates Tom for screwing him over so badly. He thought Tom was just acting. Acting like he was so in love, just so he could leave.

Many years go by and Cindy is 5 now. Jerry is proud of her. There were many points throughout the years that he thought maybe he'd have to put her up for adoption. But he never did. He worked so hard, and Cindy has done so well. It's been rough money wise, but they still got though it and will continue to thrive.

There's a knock at the door (Jerry moved into a normal house) so Jerry goes to answer it. When he opens the door, he's surprised to see who's there.

J: "Oh my god.."
