The day we went on a school field trip. Year 2018.

It was when you ditched your class-despite being the class president that time-just to sit beside me. You were two years ahead of my grade level so you were far from being allowed to join our class. That day, I found myself smiling a lot more than I used to. Throughout the whole ride, you did nothing but tell me your stories. And I just gladly listened.

You had told me so much, but there were words that never left my mind until now...

"Won-ah, look at the sunset" you said, pointing at the sky of orange and pink. The bus had stopped on one of the bays for the students to watch the setting sun.

I don't usually get excited when seeing the sky but this time, I don't know why I'm jumping with excitement. Maybe because you were there with me.
