Ivy's POV

ATLANTA•

Liyah and I arrived in ATL around 9am, we were extremely tired, we parted ways and went to our parents house. Our moms planned a big dinner tomorrow so that we can all catch up.

As soon as I walked into my parents house my mom greeted me to a big ole breakfast! Eggs, shrimp and grits, waffles, fruit, and a mimosa. I am forever grateful for the amazing relationship I have with my mother, she's my true bestfriend, but always a mother first!

We sat down and chatted and I catched her up on the last few days of my life. I already told her about the whole situation with 2tone. She gave me her motherly and honest advice.

"Mom I don't want to call him up and talk about it, wrong is wrong and right is right and I am right" I spoke to her while sipping my mimosa.

"Both of y'all are being stubborn and childish, act like the respectful young lady you are. You guys both owe an explanation and an apology to each other, he is extremely wrong for standing you up on your date and being with some chick in Houston when he is trying to get with you & you are wrong from not hearing him out"

"Nawl I'm not about to explain myself to him or beg him to act right. It's more to life than him."

"See there you go not once did I say beg for his attention nor did I say your life evolved around him, you clearly like him and he likes you. Y'all need to express y'all's feelings to one another."

"I'm not doing that mom. These feelings will be gone soon."

"Don't ask for my advice just so you can turn your nose up at everything I say." She said and picked up our plates from the island. I sighed my mother is right but I don't want to speak to him. I got up and helped my mom tidy up the kitchen before going upstairs to my old room.

I just reached Atlanta and I'm already looking for something to do. I was always busy back at home with work now I just feel weird having nothing to do. I then decided to take a stroll around the city. Hopefully this will clear my head on the situation with 2tone.

Levi POV

Not gonna lie the whole situation with Ivy had me heated, I really wanted to have something with this girl but she's so stubborn and I don't know if I'll be down to kiss her ass. Once I left her crib I did some thinking and deep down I know I'm wrong being with that girl in Houston and skipping our date. I know another sorry isn't going to cut it so I needed to figure out what to do to atleast get her to say yes to go on another date with me.

I'm stressing my self out over this girl lord knows I actually like her and want this to work. I decided to push those thoughts to the back of my head and head to the studio. I had a few things I needed to get off my chest and I need to be right where I'm destined to be.

Pulling up to the studio, I was greeted by my producer Chop and Dave. I dapped them up and sat down to hear what Dave was cooking up. I pulled out some backwoods and my za and started rolling my shit, best way to make music is when you high.

"Yo what up my nigga" Dave said to me as Chop continued to work on his music.

"Nun chilling" I replied back to him

"I hear you, you spoke to Ivy" He questioned me. I let out a sigh, I came to make music not talk about Ivy.

"Yea but shorty dubbed me so I think I'm cool on allat" I replied with no emotion shown whatsoever.

" Damn Ivy, I thought she was gonna at least try to hear what you had to say" He said

"Yea she let her friend get in her head that's why she got to acting like that" I said back

"I'm already knowing how they can get, it's cool brudda" He said, I nodded. I just finished smoking my blunt and I was ready to record some shit. Right on que Chop played me this beat, I was fucking with it, I went in and Dave left he had some shit to handle I recorded it not knowing this was going to be my greatest hit yet.

Chop played it back and I was fucking with it so hard. "This shit hot 2" Chop said to me as he bobbed his head to the song. I nodded with a big ass smile on my face and thought to myself it's only up from here! I took out my phone and scrolled on twitter while my song played in the background as Chop made tweaks to it.

After that I scrolled through IG and I saw that Ivy got her hair done, so me being me I clicked on her instagram story and saw that she was in ATL visiting her peoples and shit. Just to my luck I'm performing at a show in the city tomorrow. Ima chop it up with shorty before then. Look at God

I stayed at the studio for a little while longer posted a snippet on IG as well and told them my new single dropping this Friday called 'Barbie' . I was happy to be putting out some more shit, cause people was really fucking with me.

Once I left the studio I went to the crib and got some rest for the show tomorrow.
