Chapter 2

It was 3 PM  already .. Dixie didn't come yesterday because she wanted to spend time with Noah..
(A/n: Noah and Dixie have been dating for 6 years in this story btw. And Noah is also Chase older brother. Charli does know this btw)
I really like Noah.. he is perfect for my sister. He treats her very well. And I'm super happy for my sister because she didn't have the best relationship on her last one. Noah is chase older brother but they don't really talk to each other for some reason. Noah doesn't really like talking about his childhood with Chase. That's why we talk about Chase when he's around and when I'm here because they know that we were both hurt because of him.

I made some steak with white rice.. I was getting everything ready when I hear a knock on the door. That must be them! I run to the door and see them standing there with something in there hand. Dixie was wearing a white dress and Noah was wearing some black pants with a white shirt.

I open the door and smile at them, they smile back at me to. Sophia comes running out the door to greet her uncle Noah..
Sophia: Uncle Noah!
Noah: Hey kiddo
Noah picked her up and hugged her.. she had a smile in her face. Noah put her down and she went to hug her auntie Dixie..
Sophia: Auntie!
Dixie: Hi darling
She picks her up and kissed her forehead.. she giggles and kisses Dixie check and puts her head on her shoulder. She looks at Noah and she made the 🥺 face..Noah looked at Dixie and knew what she was saying by what she was doing.
Noah: Babe I know what your doing...
Dixie: Baby please..
Noah: We're not even married yet.. wait a little longer
(A/n btw they are engaged, and will get marry soon.)
Dixie: Okay..
I look at Noah and Dixie and giggle

After dinner we talked for a little and that's when Sophia brought the thing that happen yesterday...
Sophia: Yesterday a man came and mommy was talking to him..
I look at Dixie and Noah and stay quiet
Dixie: Charli? What is she talking about..
Charli: Uh- idk..
Noah: Hey kiddo, can you describe that person?
Sophia: Well he had black hair and blue eyes like me!
Noah looks at me
Noah: Charli?
Charli: Fine.. Chase came yesterday and tried to get back to together with me and said he "misses me and wanted to see his daughter".
Noah: That mother fucker...
Dixie: Noah calm down..
Noah: No dixie, you know how much I love Charli and she's a little sister to me but he broke her heart.. I don't wanna see him do it again!
I stay quiet..
Noah: Did he tell you anything else?!
Charli: No.. I just said no and slammed the door on his face.
Dixie: Why would you do that char..
Noah: No no he deserves it!
Dixie: No he doesn't.. Noah he's still you brother rather like it or not! And char he's ur child's father!
Charli: Why are you always on his side!
She goes quiet for a bit..
Dixie: I'm not on his side.. I'm just saying that you just shouldn't say things to him!
Noah: He deserves it!
Dixie: No he doesn't! All you guys do is say things to him! I- excuse me..
She gets up from her seat and walks to the bathroom.. I look at chase and he looks at me.
Sophia: Mommy.. why were you guys screaming at each other and where did auntie go?
Charli: We weren't screaming at each other were just talking... and she had to go to the bathroom, that's all.
Sophia: ok!
Noah gets up and walks over to the bathroom where Dixie was and knocks on the door..
(A/n this is a new point of view btw... Charli can't hear anything Noah and Dixie are saying. )
Noah: Dixie can I come in?
Dixie: Noah just leave me alone
Noah: Dixie I'm sorry!
Dixie opens the door..
Noah: I'm just trying to help chase back with Charli so he can see his kid...
Noah: Why?
Dixie: Look, chase contacted me about 2 weeks ago asking me if I could ask char if Chase can see Sophia.. I told him no since he did break my sisters heart. But he insisting so I said yes.. I kinda talked to char about it ( this was in chapter 1 btw) and she said no. So I told him that he should talk to her. I gave him the address and he went and well you know the rest..
Noah: But why do you want him in Charli's and Sophia's life again?
Dixie: Because.. Sophia is his daughter. If you were Sophia's dad you would do the same thing! And all I'm begging you to do is help me! Please.. do it for me? And for Sophia to have a dad...
Noah looks at her and nods his head "yes". She hugged him and kissed him.

They left and I was thinking about what happen in dinner.. should I forgive him? For the child? A lot of questions and running in my head.. What do I choose?! I don't wanna have to tell my daughter when she is older that her dad left her and he came and wanted to be in her life but her mother didn't want to..! I can't- I can't do this rn. I have to think if I want him in my life and my child's life! What I'm I supposed to do now..

I decided to call my best friend... I haven't talked to her in years because she went to college. But it's been like 4 years. So I'm pretty sure she graduated college but who know. I got my phone and looked through my contacts until I saw "Vani 🙄" I clicked on it and it stared to ring. I hear a "Hello?" in the other side of the call.
Charli: Avani?
Avani: Char?!
Charli: Hii Avani!
Avani: Omg Charli! Is that really you?!
Charli: Yes yes!
Avani: Omg I haven't talked to you in years! How are you?
Charli: I've been amazing! How have you been?
Avani: I've been great! How is Sophia?
Charli: She's doing amazing
Avani: That's great!
Charli: Yeah... but I called you because I wanted to ask how your doing and talk to you because we haven't talked in a while. But also I need to talk about something else..
Avani: Ok?
Charli: So yesterday chase came.. and told me he misses me and his daughter.. and he did wanna be in her life and how he made a huge mistake by leaving.
Avani: Beb..You know that I let you do whatever you want.. but he wants to be with you. And I also think it's the best for your daughter..!
Charli: I do want my daughter to have a father in her life.. but I don't want him to break me again.
Avani: He won't... or we'll idk- but that's not the point! I mean- NO! He won't hurt you- he won't..
Charli: Avani? Is there anything that you want to tell me?
(A/n: Avani has been talking to chase since he did do college and they went to the same one. And chase asked Avani if she can help him)
Avani: Uh- no.. I'm just saying that if he wants to be in ur life then let him.. and yeah it's great for you daughter...
Charli: Your right.. maybe I should. But im just doing this for Sophia!
Avani: Ok! Uh- well I gotta go.. but talk to you later! Baii
Charli: Uh- ok baii?
She hangs up, there something up with her and she doesn't want to tell me for some reason.. but I decided that it's better that I take him back for Sophia.. just Sophia..
