"What do we do?" Hoseok questioned, his heart withering at the thought of Jungkook falling ill and feeling alone.

The quintet had gathered again at Taehyung's office after he got back from the Jeons. The gang leader had immediately called the Jeons' ex-bodyguards to talk about what had gone down. It was late at night, way past dinner, but Taehyung was restless, his heart-wrenching at the recent memories of his Jungkook. 

He never expected to feel this way so quickly about someone he got to know so recently, but Jungkook elated all the most profound and unknown feelings Taehyung ever thought of feeling. Having so quickly and desperately admitted to Jungkook he was in love with him, left Taehyung with a bitter taste on his tongue.

He didn't imagine such heartfelt words to fall off his lips so quickly. Not that he didn't felt them as truth, or as if he said them as a ruse to confuse Jungkook and make him falter. 

If Taehyung ever imagined such events to occur, he wanted them to be perfect, romantic, not an act of complete despair, like a pathetic plead for Jungkook to believe him and correspond him. Taehyung felt regretful of so much, but that was what he most felt regretful of.

"Worry not, dear hyung. We moved some pieces in the game and soon we'll have a way closer to Jungkook." Jimin assured with a sneaky smirk, walking tauntingly around the bodyguards and placing his hands on Hoseok's shoulders.

"What do you mean?" The driver questioned, raising his face to look up at the blonde with a frown.

"We may or may not have sent some of our men to apply to be Jungkook's bodyguards," Jimin answered, playing with his words, which made Yoongi roll his eyes.

"Three of the crew are in the final line. We have 75% chances to have at least one of ours closer to him." The older one clarified, done with Jimin's little games.

"I thought you said you wouldn't try to play dirty to approach Jungkook." Namjoon reproached, eyes dead straight staring at Taehyung.

The bodyguards had been a plan B Jimin had intensely insisted. The short blond felt like a hero on a mission to make forbidden love happen and Taehyung had no energy to refute him. At this moment, after what happened, he felt somewhat grateful that Jimin had persisted so much. 

After seeing Jungkook so broken and fragile, Taehyung needed a way in, even if for dirty means. He just wanted to make sure to have an eye on Jungkook and to know about him and every important thing regarding him, like his health and his well-being.
