"Hey! Hey Hinata!"
I turned around at the sound of someone yelling my name. "Who wants to talk to me?" I thought with confusion.
Ino Yamanaka ran up behind me, smiling and waving madly.
"Hinata! Hinata! I'm having a party tomorrow.. you know, sort of like a graduation party...?" she started.
"Uh-huh." I replied. I wondered what she was getting at.
"Um... well... you're invited?" She said, "But only if you want to come, I won't make you!" She looked at me eagerly, waiting for my answer.
I felt myself begin to blush.
"Um, sure.. I-if you want me to..." I stammered. The first party I'd ever been invited to! This was brilliant!
"Of course I want you there, silly! We all do! Me, and Shikamaru, and Choji, and Sakura, and Naruto..." She carried on, but I stopped listening when I heard Naruto's name. He was going to be there! He was really going to be there!
"O- Of course!" I stammered with glee, "I'll be there, believe it!" I felt my face burn bright red when I realised what I'd said. Damn, why did I have to use his signature catchphrase? Hopefully Ino didn't notice!
"Hehe.. see you tomorrow then! My place at nine! Oh, and bring Neji too, if you want!" She grinned. "Bye!" She waved at me and set of towards her house.
I started walking home, and smiled to myself. My first ever party and he was going to be there!
