Kiba's gossip

I met Neji outside my house at about eight-thirty.

"We off now?" he asked. I nodded my head in agreement and we set off.

"YEAAAAH! You came!" Ino yelled with delight when she saw us. I blushed; Neji grinned and struck up conversation with Tenten who was close by.

"So, Hinata, do you want a drink? Food? Any particular song on?" Ino asked me.

"N-No thankyou," I blushed, anf made my way over to Kiba.

"Hey! Didn't expect to see you here!" He roared gleefully over the music which was blasting out from the nearby speakers.

"Well, I had.. reasons to come here tonight. And Ino was nice enough to invite me herself!" I replied.

"Cool," Kiba grinned. "Hey, you want one of these? They're great!" He pulled a bottle of beer out of a bag by his feet and handed it to me.

"Oh.. uh... no thanks," I said, laughing.

"Suit yourself," he shrugged, "Anyway, have you seen who's here?! Guess, go on, just try to guess!"

I started to laugh. "Kiba, I don't know! I've just got here! You tell me!"

Kiba lowered his voice and lent towards me. "Well... you know Sasuke, right? Sasuke Uchiha? He's here! Ino invited him just out of politeness and he actually turned up!"

Sasuke Uchiha? Surely Kiba was kidding. Why would he be here?

"Nah... I don't believe you," I replied.

Kiba gestured to the door, "You sure?" He said.

Strangely enough, Kiba was telling the truth. Stood leaning against the doorframe, looking pretty pissed off, was Sasuke Uchiha.
