Chapter 1

Dixie's POV
I got up super early to make my sister Charli get my sister Mackenzie ready. After I got Kenz ready I went downstairs and made them breakfast and ran out the front door. I had to go visit my dad before I started any school work.

I pulled into the parking lot and ran to my dads grave. I was almost there when I saw some guy sitting near it. I continued walking to my dad and I sat down.

Dixie:Hey
???:Oh uh hi
Dixie: Who are you visiting?
???:Oh my mom. What about you?
Dixie:Dad. What's your name?
???: I'm Noah. Noah Beck
Dixie:I'm Dixie...D'amelio
Noah:Nice. What happened to your dad?
Dixie:He was in a car accident. He died on impact. I was in the car with him but I didn't have a scratch.
Noah:I'm so sorry. Now I'm gonna call you miracle girl.
Dixie:*giggles* that's fine. What happened to your mom?
Noah:She had kidney cancer. I gave her one of mine to try to save her but It didn't work
Dixie:I sorry. I'm gonna call you one kidney boy.
Noah:*giggles* You know you're really cool.
Dixie:Thanks one kidney boy. You too
Noah:I haven't talked to really anyone besides my sister since my mom passed. But there was something different about you
Dixie:Is that a good thing?
Noah:Yeah of course. Could I get your number? Maybe we can hang out some time
Dixie:Ummm sure.

I have Noah my number and I got his. We sat there with our parents and talked for a while but then Noah had to leave.

Noah:I have to get to school but hopefully I see you around.
Dixie:Definitely. Text me later we can hang out.
Noah:Cool. Are you gonna stay a little longer?
Dixie:Actually I should probably go too. I have school soon too.
Noah:What school do you go to?
Dixie:I'm homeschooled but I really wanna go to public school
Noah:It's nothing much. I go to a public school and it's pretty boring.
Dixie:What about the school dances and football games and stuff.
Noah:I play on the football team so I never got the experience of watching a game and no girls ever wanna go to the dances with me so I don't go.
Dixie:Well I would go with you
Noah:*smiles* good to know. I really do have to go though so i'll text you later
Dixie:Yeah. Bye Noah!
Noah:Bye Miracle girl.

I never would've thought i'd meet a friend in a cemetery but I guess the worlds pretty crazy like that. 

I was getting in my car when I heard someone call my name.

???: Dixie!!!
Dixie: Huh?!
Griffin:Who the fuck was that?
Dixie: He's a friend Griff. I just met him today
Griffin:Bullshit. What did I tell you about hanging out with guys that aren't me?
Dixie: You said not to do it or bad things would happen. Griffin please don't hurt me
Griffin: To late for that

Noah's POV

I was driving out of the parking lot when I saw a guy at Dixie's car. I didn't think much of it until I heard his screaming and telling him not to hurt her...then he slapped her I put my car in park an jumped out and ran to them.

Dixie:Griffin please! i'm sorry!
Noah:Hey! Get your hands off of her!!
Griffin:Shut the fuck up!!
Dixie: Noah help me please!
Noah:I said get the fuck off of her

I grabbed Griffin by the collar of his shirt and threw him onto the ground.

Noah: Don't ever put your fucking hands on a woman. Do it again and you'll regret it.
Griffin:I-I'm sorry dude.
Noah: Get the fuck out of here and leave her alone
Griffin: Yes sir

Griffin got into his car and left

Noah: Hey are you ok?
Dixie:I am now thank you Noah.
Noah: Of course. You don't deserve that. Who was he anyway?
Dixie: My boyfriend. I guess not anymore
Noah: Dixie please stay away from him. I don't want you to get hurt. We may have just met today but you're my best and only friend.
Dixie:I'll stay away. I don't wanna be with him anyway.
Noah:Ok. I have to get to school. Are you sure you'll be okay?
Dixie: Yeah. I'm gonna go straight home. Text me later ok?
Noah:I will as soon as i'm out of school.
Dixie: Promise?
Noah:I promise.

Dixie hugged me and we said goodbye again. We both got into our cars and I drove off to school.
