Villain Deku is your best friend

You rush outside and look around frantically. "Oh... where is he?" you mutter to yourself.

Then you spot him. You rush up to your childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya, who was sitting in the water.

"Zu!" you call out. The green haired boy looks up.

You reach the water and outstretch your hand. "I'm so sorry Zu, I had to do some work after class."

Izuku says nothing, but takes your hand and nods, getting up. As you both start to pick up his drenched books and backpack, you notice that he doesn't have his usual... spark.

"Hey, Zu. Are you alright? You seem... distant." No response. You nudge him a bit.

"Hello~ Earth to Izuku. Are you there?"

 "Leave me alone, Y/N."

You're taken aback by his response, but try and be friendly still. "Who are you and what did you do to Izuku Midoriya?" you tease playfully.

"I said leave me alone!" Izuku shouts at you, startling you that you drop his books.

"W-what?" "You don't have to keep on pretending to like me! I know that I'm a useless, quirkless loser okay! If you don't like me then you can leave! I don't need your sympathy."

He breathes heavily and you stand there shocked. "Zu... where did you get the idea that I'm pretending to be your friend?"

He scoffs. "Kacchan told me about what you said. And if that's how you really feel about me then I... I don't need you!"

You stare at him with furrowed brows. "Wait... you're really going to believe Katsuki over what he said? He's just trying to get to you Izuku! I like you for you. I don't care that you're quirkless! You're still my best friend." You grab his shoulders. "Never, forget that."

 Izuku stands there for a second, but then starts to sniffle, then cry, and then full on sobbing into your shoulder. You rub his back and let him cry.

"Hey, hey. It's alright Zu. It's alright. I'm here for you." "Why.. why did the universe have to curse me? What did I do to deserve to be quirkless." he sobs into your uniform.

"You're not cursed Zu. Just... different."

Time skip

The second week after Izuku Midoriya disappeared without a trace. No one knew what happened to him... except you.

All Might, one of the only people he looked up to, had rejected him. You had watched the whole thing. You were walking home with him, and turned to go on your block.

But you heard him talking to someone and decided to see who it was. To your surprise, it was All Might. You continued to watch as your best friend begged All Might to help him become a hero, but All Might refused and left; leaving Izuku there heartbroken.

Then, a man in a black hoodie came up to him. You couldn't hear what he said to Izuku, but he got your best friend to leave with him.

You didn't follow them. You couldn't. You were in shock. You just went home and didn't say a thing.

Time skip (Yes, another time skip) (⌐■_■)

5 months after Izuku Midoriya's disappearance and the police have almost given up on the case. You still hadn't told anyone about what you saw, and didn't intend to either.

You had gotten into UA highschool with your other childhood 'friend', Katsuki Bakugou. You didn't talk to him at all. You despised him.

As much as you wanted to forgive him for the past, you couldn't. For causing Izuku so much pain. No. It was impossible.

"Class dismissed." Mr. Aizawa said with a bored tone, getting into his sleeping bag.

As you leave the classroom, your phone starts to ring. The contact said 'ZU'. Mina leans over your shoulder. "Ooh~ Who's that Y/N? A secret partner?"

Denki comes up to you both. "Nah, that's most likely not their significant other. They refuse to tell me who it is even though I ask so politely. Whoever that is calls them every day."

Tsuyu joins the conversation. "Yeah, I see them call Y/N every day, kero" "You know L/N, it would be very interesting if you were to tell us who that is.

Or at least put them on speaker for us to hear them." Todoroki chimes in. As everyone keeps bugging you to tell them who's calling you, Bakugou walks past you with a glance in your direction. You glare at him and he scoffs, walking away with his hands in his pockets.

"What is it with you and Bakubro Y/N? You two can't seem to stand each other." Kirishima asks.

"It's... let's just say we haven't had the best past together." You mumble.

The call ends, but only 3 seconds later the phone starts to buzz again. "Sorry you all, I really have to take this." You tell everyone, grabbing your headphones and rushing out of the school.

 You pick up the call and hear Izuku Midoriya's voice on the other line. "I'm heading out Shiggy! Well~ It took you long enough doll~"

"Don't call me that Zu. I hate that nickname." "Hm, I think I'll call you what I want. Doll~" You sigh and smile.

"Oh, shut up you." Izuku chuckles on the other line. "What took you so long. You weren't still in class were you? You shouldn't have been. I made sure to call you right after it ended."

You sigh. "Yeah, everyone was bugging me about who was calling." "I see. Hey, we're still meeting at the cafe right?"

You smile. "You know it Zu. I'll be there in 10 minutes."
