Note: This is in NO WAY trying to ship the actual Karl and Sapnap, just a fun little fanfiction. (also, my friend forced me to do this on a dare pls don't hate me)

Sapnap's eyes fluttered open slowly. He yawned and stretched out his legs. He stumbled out of bed, rubbing his face. He grabbed his phone off his desk and instinctively opened his messages with Karl. He had a new message Karl sent him at 7 am. "Good morning" It read.

"Morning Karl :)" Sapnap sent.

"Hey! Do you wanna stream with me later? I want to play some survival"

A smile flickered across Sapnap's face. It was stupid, but he loved when Karl wanted to talk to him. Even though they talked every day, it still felt great to know Karl still enjoyed his company.

"Sure! What time?"

"Prob around 5 pm? Does that work?"

"Yeah man! See you then :)"

"Yep! See you then :)"

Sapnap smiled softly, setting down his phone. He sat down on his bed, running over the conversation again. Images of the two friend's last meetup flashed through his mind. Karl had given Sapnap his polyester sweater to try on when the stream's chat had told them to switch clothes. What Karl had said when he saw Sapnap had tortured him.

"It looks better on you than it does on me!" He had said, in a mocking tone. But he had no idea how much him saying that affected Sapnap. Why did he have to say that? What was the point? Sapnap knew he was joking, and he laughed. But he wasn't laughing on the inside. Does he really think that? Sapnap could never look half as pretty as Karl. His smile, his laugh, his clothes, his face, everything. Every. Single. Part. Of Karl. Was perfect.

Sapnap shook his head. They could never be together. Karl loved Melody. Stupid, stupid Melody. Sapnap hated everything about her. She was so pretty, so perfect, almost as pretty as Karl. And Sapnap hated her for it. She had Karl mesmerized. Sapnap saw Karl's eyes as she would walk past them. His face would light up, and a goofy smile would accompany his giggles.

Was that what Sapnap looked like around Karl? Was it that obvious? If Karl knew how Sapnap felt, he would surely be weirded out. He would leave him. Sapnap would lose him. He couldn't let that happen. Sapnap needed something to make him feel better. Someone- but that someone- was Karl. Sapnap heard his phone buzzing and snapped out of his trance. Shaking his head vigorously, he opened his phone to see Karl calling him. Karl. Karl was calling him. His finger hovered over the answer button, and he decided to answer. Immediately, Karl's voice lit up Sapnap's world.
