-Chapter 5-

I woke up with the sun blaring into my face, thank god it was Friday the last day of school for the week. I looked at the time and realised that I was running late, i quickly got changed and ran out of the door. Running through the park, a lot of people stared at me I wouldn't be surprised I mean when do you ever find a 13 year old girl running through the park at 20 past 8 in the morning?

I made it to school in the next 10 minutes, I ran to my first class (English) and sat down in my assigned seat. Thank goodness I wasn't late I cant deal to have another detention this week, the teacher walked in a minute later and started teaching.

-Time skip to lunch-
The bell rang and I walked out of my class into the busy hallway, I made my way into the canteen and at in my usual place at the back on my own. I don't really have any friends as no one likes me so I tend to keep to myself. I sat on my phone until of course my arch enemy walks towards me, her name is Courtney May she is the most popular girl in the school. 'Hey girls look who it is it's little miss loner' she comments to her friends, 'leave me alone Courtney, I'm not in the mood today!' I snap at her.

'What are you going to do if I don't' she questions in her normal annoying voice, 'you don't want to know' I mutter under my breath. 'What was that I couldn't quite hear you' she says, 'then use your ears deafo' I shout making everyone look at me.

'What did you just call me?' She asks, 'I said use your ears deafo and clearly your not as you didn't hear that!' I snap back. She looks at me in disgust and storms off with her friends, well at least I didn't get into a fight today I thought to myself.

-Time skip to end of the day-
I walk out of school and make my way back to the orphanage, 15 minutes later I'm walking through the front door and go up to my room. I put my bag in the corner and pick up my guitar. I start to play one of my favourite songs 'typhoons' by Royal Blood.

Rip the plug out the radio
Switch me off put me under
Till I'm sky high, give me vertigo

I finish playing the song and slowly drift off to sleep.

Author Note: sorry there were a lot of time skips in this chapter I didn't really know what to put into the school day, the song that leia plays on the guitar is actually my favourite song and I definitely recommend it if you are into rock music like me! Thanks for reading, Ava x
