Have you watched SMG4: The Weegee Uprising and thought "I wonder what happened to the rest of the SMG4 cast when Luigi, Boopkins and Shroomy were frozen." or "How did Mario and friends survive?" or "Who did Mario have family with?"? One video and so many questions. SMG4 doesn't seem to care about it anymore so I decided to write the series about Mario and remaining SMG4 cast trying to survive the apocalypse.

Friday evening.
Mario and Luigi are in their house getting ready to sleep.
Mario: Finally! Time to get some sleep after busy day!
Luigi: Mario you've been doing absolutely nothing all day.
Mario: What about eating spaghetti all day? It's more tiring than you think!
Luigi: sigh You really need to get a job someday. Goodnight! Oh and I'll go to the Castle tomorrow in the morning to meet with Boopkins and Shroomy so I might not be here when you wake up.
Mario: Yeah whatever... goes to sleep
The next day
Mario suddenly wakes up after hearing weird noises outside. It sounds like people panicking, gunshots and cars crashing. He look through the window and sees exactly what he heared. Toads, koopas and humans running everywhere. Cars were stoping, some of them even crashing at high speed and getting on fire. Police was trying to control the chaos. Mario then sees someone getting tackled to the ground by a weird green doll that looks just like...Luigi?
The doll pins the toad o the ground, turns him into another weegee doll and they both go after other people.
Mario gets flashbacks from Luigi Labirynth and remembers how dolls work: Don't let them hug you to avoid turning into one of them.
Mario: Again?! Seriously?!
He walks away from the window and turns on the TV.
News Guy: Breaking News! Chaos has struck the Mushroom Kingdom again! Big green dolls looking like Luigi are flooding the streets and wrecking havoc around the Peache's Castle and just got to the Mushroom City. We have Jeeves on sight! Jeeves, what's the situation?
Camera shows Jeeves standing on one of the streets in Mushroom City. Weegees are spreading while Police and military is trying to stop them.
Jeeves: Thank you News Guy. It seems the dolls are spreading like a virus. They pin the victim to the ground and turn into one of them. They're also very strong and can breaks through closed doors and windows. Our military is trying their best to handle the situation.
Some soldier runs in the background screaming "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!". Jeeves also gets caught by a weegee doll and the stream stops.
News Guy: Jeeves? You still there? Ah well... It was a stupid idea to report from there. Anyway! We just got the instructions from the officials about how to survive. If you live near the Peach's Castle or in the East Mushroom City block all doors and windows with heavy objects or (if it's impossible) evacuate to the nearest safezone. If there's no Weegee activity where you live you should also stay inside. The safezones are located in MK Military Base, Toad Town and Inkopolis. Try to avoid highways to let the military get to the major outbreak zones. The instructions are valid until further notice. Wait what are you saying?
Someone speaks something behind the camera.
News Guy: WHAT?! They got inside the studio?! Crap! Tell my wife I hate her!
News Guy runs away and the TV stops working.
Mario: Ah shit. Here we go again. Is Luigi trying to take over the world again? I'm gonna kick his ass for this!
Marios phone rings. It’s Meggy.
Mario: Hello?
Meggy: Red! I'm glad you’re ok! I just watched the news and there are some crazy dolls that look like Luigi destroying everything and turning people into themselves. By the way why do they look like your brother?
Mario: Because Luigi is probably behind all this. I've been through this already few years ago.
Meggy: You...were?
Mario: Yeah. That's a long story. I'll tell you when this is over. And I'm pretty sure everyone is gonna turn back to normal after a day because that's what happened last time.
Meggy: I really hope you’re right. I already called others. Luigi, SMG4, Boopkins, Bob and Shroomy aren't responding! Saiko and Axol are going to pick up Tari from her house. Then they're all coming to my place to wait through this mess. There's a safezone in Inkopolis.
Mario: Cool but there's really nothing to worry about. I know how to stop Luigi.
Meggy: That’s good. But if the situation gets out of control, please find our friends and bring them here before stopping him (if that's really Luigi). I just... want to be sure everyone's safe. I don't want to loose my friends like I lost De-
The conversation breaks off. Mario looks at his phone and notices there's no signal.
Mario: Stupid phone. Welp, guess I'm gonna eat some spaghetti while waiting for things to calm down-
At this moment a Weegee doll starts bashing the window. Mario jumps from being jumpscared.
Mario: JESUS!
Mario notices a doll slowly breaking the window trying to get into his house. He grabs his bag, goes to the fridge and puts as much spaghetti as he can carry in the bag. The doll breaks in and chases Mario around the house for few seconds but Mario throws a table at it.
Mario: BI#CH!
He then goes outside, gets in his kart and drives off before other Weegees can catch up to him. Mario drives fast, avoiding abandoned cars and Weegees blocking the road.
Mario: Ok. I need to find my friends and get them to Meggy's. I'll check the Castle first. Luigi said he will be meeting Boopkins and Shroomy there.
Mario gets closer to the Castle and sees a lot of abandoned police cars. He also hears shooting in the background. He gets to the Castle on foot and there're Chris, Swag and other soliders using tanks to hold off the dolls.
Mario: Chris? Swag? What are you doing here?
Swag: Oh. Heya Mario. We're killing the dolls because our commander told us.
Chris: Yeah. We heared that this is the place where the dolls started spreading. We were trying to contain them. We were also trying to get Princess to safety but the dolls keep coming out of there.
Mario: Wait... It started here? Why would Luigi make his base in the Castle? Anyway have you seen Luigi, Boopkins, Shroomy or someone else?
Swag: Nah. They're probably dead lol.
Mario: I need to go find them!
Mario runs to the Castle.
Chris: Mario no!
Swag: Let him do it. He has a plot armor anyway.
