Ares's Perspective:

I continued to look at the door ahead of me, my hand stuck on the knob like it was covered in glue. I didn't know what was behind this door, but staying here wouldn't do me any good.

I looked behind me once more as the basement of my childhood got covered in blue flames. Although the place mostly held bad memories, I'm glad that I could be a little at peace with what occurred tonight.

"Goodbye...Mom and Dad."

I turned the door and walked into the blinding light, waiting for my eyes to fully adjust to the room.

My face erupted into a smile as the room cleared into the cell I was being held in before, but with me and Leo in the middle sleep together.

"What a night that was."

I walked over to our sleeping bodies, kneeling down to look at Leo. At first with meeting him I didn't want to get close to him at all, mostly because I didn't know what love was and didn't want to be bothered by anyone. He was also very annoying; Beyond that fact however, he was the first person to ever stick by me and try to save me, even when I didn't want to be.

I was drowning in my own sorrow when he came around, and I could only thank the god Castien for bringing such a uplifting being into my life.

I watched as he turned over and cuddled into me. Even in his sleep he was adorable.

I quickly covered my face and looked away from him. Adorable? Since when do I use that word?

I peered back at us and saw that I was sitting upright, rubbing my fingers across Leo's hands. I looked in confusion, I don't remember waking up late in the night doing this.

I looked over at Leo, getting up slowly as I did so.

"I wonder what mom and dad would say...knowing I found such an incredible creature to love me when they never did. I bet mother would take out the old revolver and start shooting."

I laughed at myself, walking over to the sink in the corner, staring at my reflection.

All I could do was watch in awe, when had I done this? The only thing I remember from that night was mating with Leo, and that was a hell of a night.

Smiling to myself, I went back to watching me. I was now playing with a fireball in my hand, making it flare up and reform its' shape. Looking down at my own hand, I no longer had the fire power since Castien had left my body.

"Tell me something James...why were we given such an amazing being?"

I jerked my hand up and fell back as I looked back at myself. I was covered in flames, my hair flaring wildly as I indulged in the flames.

Looking back at the sink, I could see myself still standing there with the fireball, but I was looking back at me this time. This didn't make any sense. Had this happened last night, or is this part of the punishment?

"Do you know what we are James? We are the offspring of Castien, we have the power of a god in our hands."

I jerked my head to the right of the room to see me in wolf form, only I was almost as big as the room. Looking to the left of me, another me was standing in a robe with silver eyes, and another stood in my every day clothes with his eyes glowing red.

This was becoming weirder by the minute. Leo was still sleeping in the middle of the room, but I don't get it. What was happening? Why were there so many me's? And why was I so...hot?

They all formed a line in front of me. Wolf me in the middle, sliver eyes to his right and red eyes to his left. Fireball and the one covered in flames were at each ends. I had never seen myself in these forms. Was this what Castien meant? The power of his offsprings? The power of his children?
