Brushing my silky black and yellow fuzz, i think to myself : another day of useless work, there's no point in making all this honey if nobody ever uses it.
Yawning, I look out my window. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. All of the wings beating in the air made a gentle buzzing sound as if a helicopter were flying overhead.
Why does everyone look so happy? I think to myself
Can't they tell that we mean nothing in the world, a human would probably choose to walk in glass then take one glance at us.

Suddenly I hear the queen bee calling us, "Children, get up you will be late for work," she calls.
The queen bee is my mother, everyone's mother but she never has much time for me. Always fussing over her grown up children or her newborns.
When time comes and the queen decides to give her live to our hive, she appoints a new queen (one of her children).
I've always wanted to be queen, but I haven't even earned my place as a pollen collector. So I'm stuck making the honey, and when I prove myself to be a hard worker at making honey I can earn the spot of a pollen collector.
Still I don't understand why we make such a big deal about making honey.
Nobody in the world enjoys it the way we do, but still bee's devote their life to making it.
This though stuck in my head as I put on my suit and go outside and almost bumped into my brother, Otto. "Hey Anna, watch where you're going, " he said to me.
