The Forbidden Twins

Chapter 1

In the world of modern Tokyo, the world was always loud with the sounds of cars honking and the different chattering of people. But some people love peace just like our twins that are walking on the street right now.

The brothers were twins, their features matching each other. Having the same yellow eyes, like the warmth of sunlight in springtime streaming through a window warming up a patch on the carpet. Their eyes were a little downturn. Both had snowy hair that was hovering above their eyes if you notice them from a close direction, their eyelashes are longer than a normal person, giving off a beautiful appearance.

The taller twin had a few on his left ear and coupled with more on his right ear. He has two moles right below his left eye and one directly under the left side of his lips. He was wearing a black hoodie on the inside, with a grey denim jacket. He was wearing an office tag with the name Silas Chance. The said person was also wearing suit pants with multicoloured Adidas sneakers. His nails were painted in black, his index finger had a bow-shaped ring. His left hand holding a coffee cup.

The other twin looked much more formal. He also had the same amount of piercings just like his other twin. He was wearing a black turtleneck sweater, covering himself with a burgundy long coat. The office tag that he was wearing showed the name, Sebastian Chance. Sebastian was wearing the same suit pant as his brother with a belt and Nike air force. He is wearing the same ring as his brother on his index finger as well. As well as holding the same coffee cup in his right hand.

"Silas, what is our dinner today?"  Sebastian asked as he sipped his coffee. They were both waiting for the traffic light to turn green before crossing the road.

"We have some leftover potatoes and carrots in our fridge. I also remember the curry powder so we can eat curry for today." Silas said as he tried remembering the ingredients at home with difficulty.

"No meat?" Sebastian asked as he stared at his brother with wide eyes.

"Well, I think we have...I think the chicken was in the freezer." Silas said with no confidence as Sebastian just shook his head.

"I mean Mother did visit our house today, so maybe she has cooked food for us?" Silas said as he scratches his head.

"Maybe. She takes care of her new family more. So don't put your hopes up too much." Sebastian laughed a bit as he sipped another mouthful of his coffee.

Silas was about to open his mouth again but the light has turned green so they both proceeded to cross the road. The next thing they knew, was that there were screams and a bright light right beside them.

As both of them turned to the side, the bright light immediately turned dark at the moment.

Silas felt himself on a soft platform. He used his hands to figure out if there was anything around him. Then he managed to feel someone's hair and continued touching it.  "Hey, stop it." The familiar voice of his twin, Sebastian immediately registered in his mind and Silas sat up straight.

Everything was just blinding white to Silas and Sebastian, as they looked around for any other source of life in the same room as them. "Silas, you have any idea where we are?" Sebastian asked as he sighed.

"I'm as clueless as you, Sebastian." Silas tried squinting his eyes as he swore he saw a very blurred figure in the middle of the room.

"But I am sure we have a visitor..." Silas said as the blurred figure started to materialise. It was a woman.

"A woman?" Sebastian murmured as he stared at the figure as well.

"Oh my, is it too bright?" The woman opened her mouth and she sighed. "I'll dim the lights a bit." She said. The room dimed at her command and we could finally see the woman. She had long black hair with white highlights, she was wearing a normal summer dress and was barefooted. Her almond-shaped eyes were just black and she was carrying a staff.
