Heartland- Surprise for the Heartland Family

Chapter 7

The whole family goes inside with Ty and Amy's newborn baby.

Inside**

" Hey Amy, I am going to go say hi to our daughter and tell her we have a surprise for her." Ty said

Ty went off the Katie's bedroom and the rest of the family went to go sit on the couch.

" Hey pumpkin, how are you doing. Hey Rose." Ty said

Lyndy ran up to Ty and gave him a big hug and Rose just stood there.

" Daddy, why were you and mummy gone for a long time?" Asked Lyndy

" Well sweetheart, come here and I will show you." Ty said

" I hope it is a Unicorn!" Lyndy yelled

Ty, Katie, Luke, Rose, and Lyndy all followed Ty into the living room.

In the living room**

" Hey Lyndy, please come here." Amy told Lyndy

Lyndy walked over to Amy

Lyndy screamed that she didn't want a new little brother and ran off crying to Katie's room.

" I will be right back. I am going to go check on Lyndy." Ty said

Rose, Luke, and Katie all went over to see Amy and Ty's new baby.

In Katie's room**

" Lyndy what was that about?" Ty asked Lyndy as he closed the bedroom door.

" Daddy, I don't want the attention getting taken off me." Lyndy said through tears

" Lyndy you have a bunch of family around. You are very lucky to have this much family around. You have your G.G, Grandpa, Auntie, cousin, Luke, and even Rose. Also Lyndy you are very lucky to have a baby brother. Of course me and your mummy will make time for you. But I want you to go back out there and apologize to your mummy." Ty said and explained

" Ok, Daddy, I'm sorry." Lyndy said and ran up to Ty and gave him a big hug

Lyndy and Ty walk out of Katie's room and walk into the living room where everybody is.

" I think this young lady has something to say." Ty says

" I'm sorry that I screamed. I was just worried that I wouldn't get any attention." Lyndy said

" It's ok, and we will all try to make time for you Lyndy." Amy said

Later that night at the Borden house**

Amy and Ty had gotten all four kids to bed. And now are in their bedroom. Amy is taking off her jewlery and Ty is in bed reading a book on parenting.

" Hey Amy, we need to talk about what happened last week." Ty said

" Ok, are you talking about how you take Roses side and I went to the Ranch House?" Amy asked Ty

" Yes, Amy I want you to know I would never take anyone's side besides yours. We are a team. I was just surprised and excited that I have a little sister." Said Ty

Amy got into bed

" Ty you don't know if Rose is your sister." Amy said

" Well Amy, I was wondering if I could fly my mom in. She said she had something she wanted to tell me." Ty explained

" Ty I guess, but what do you think she wants to tell you Ty?" Amy asked

" I don't know, probably tell me I have a half sister. Or something." Ty said

" Ok Ty, well it's time to go to bed. But I love you Ty." Amy said

" I love you too Amy." Ty said
