Chapter.10 Home, at last

Socks Pov:
Blaza had asked me not to die, but if I it didn't go right, if it didn't go the way I want or plan, I would have to, so Meme could live. The rocket seemed to be going slower than I could walk, it was taking to long, I speed it up, I couldn't wait, Meme couldn't wait. I watched as every indivual planets and stars flew past, naming them to distract myself from what was about to happen. It seemed to be ages before I actually made it home, and by that time I'd finished all the food I had, broke everything I had to keep me entertained and when my last thing broke, I had made it, home, home at last. I opened the rocket's door and walk out, when I took the first step on my planet my head began to sting all around me became sore, and black spots started to cover my vision, and then, a voice began to talk in my head, only one, but sounded like ten, "Where have you been, we can't take control when your not here." After that voice, that one voice, I was turning fully alien. I screamed in pain as the monster took control as each and every part of my body felt like it was burning away on a fire, as I no longer had control but someone else, someone far different to me, someone who wanted my life for Meme's, the god of death. And that was when I saw him, that was when I saw Meme.

Meme's pov: "Socks?" "Socks what are you doing here?" He didn't reply just shook his head, "Socks, don't tell me your doing what Laff did." "Not until I have to." I nodded my head in response. "We should be in a tower, with a door, a big door." "Like that one over there?" Socks nodded his head in response, "yes, it's open aswell, Meme I want you to find a black necklace in the shape of an eye and destroy it, here use this." "What will you be doing?" "I'll be fighting him off."

Socks Pov:
I went back to reality, no matter how painful it was, the burning feeling hadn't stopped, "Let go of me, death" "I can't let go off you, your body is stronger than Meme's, I could steal so many more people with this one." I looked over, a loud noise like something crashing into the ground happened, it was a rocket, Blaza stepped out of the rocket, "LET GO OF MY FRIEND!" The god seemed to think that it was funny Blaza came to save me, as the burning stopped and I saw Blaza having to deal the pain, I saw Blaza screaming in agony, I saw blaza's eyes turning red and I saw Blaza become the monster I once was. Blaza lashed out at me, scratching across my face, the blood dripping from my face falling down to my chin and then to the floor, I tried to run but was tripped up by something on the ground, Blaza came over, I was stuck.

Meme's pov:
I needed to find that necklace I looked through everything there was, and then I found it, a small necklace in the shape of an eye, practically glowing in the darkness. A small thought came to my head, I could wear it and become more powerful than death, more powerful than anything, I'd be unstoppable. No. Socks trusted me with this job, so I took out the sword and put a whole through the necklace when everything went black.
