Parting??

Unnsu's Pov (Italics)

I sighed and continued at the surprise which I have prepared for Manav. Why is he late? He should have been here by now. I tired calling him but all in vain. May be he is stuck in his meeting or he might be driving.
Yeah ! but still he should picked up my phone.

I was the only one in the home. Mom, Aashna bhabhi and Rivya had gone to temple.
As i was still in my thoughts , my phone beeped catching my attention. I rushed toward the table on which my phone was lying, I picked it up , hoping it to be Manav.
But he words on the other side  broke my heart into pieces. It was Sanket Bhaiyaa. As he spoke I tried to hold back my tears. He told me that my Manav had a major accident.

Chuu kr gayi kaisi chuan
Barsa hai dil aur barse nayan😭😭😭😭
Ruhe tabahe , beghar hai mann
Yeh ishq hai kaisa karam

I kept on asking him what had happened, and all he world say that Manav is in pretty bad state and they took him to hospital.
I was in shock as I hung up the phone. All I could do was to cry.
I was shaking , I didn't knew what to do. My heart was racing to fast. No Manav can't leave me, no he promised me.
Sanket bhaiya told me the hospital they took him too. I quickly rushed out and took a cab to the hospital.

After reaching the hospital, I quickly made my way to operation theatre. There I saw my complete family sobbing and waiting for the doctor to say something. I was shocked to know that it was only me who was unaware of my Husband's accident. I couldn't move , it was as if I was paralyzed.
Rather now it was only my Em en vee who could make me feel safe.

It was past one hour  and we were still waiting for the Doctor to come out and say something. The surgery was still ongoing.I was panicking from inside not knowing what to do. 

How could this happen. Maanv was always careful while driving. We were so happy together and I was going to give him a Surprise but the how could this.....and again I started crying. The mere thought of him in pain, fighting for his life was breaking my heart. It was after some time that the Police also came and asked Sanket bhaiyaa to come and talk with them in Private.

After some time Sanket bhaiyaa came and started staring at me with wide eyes. I was unable to understand this behaviour. Why was he looking at me like that. My mother in law came in between and asked what happened. The next few words of Sanket bhaiyaa were making me tremble with fear.

S- Who is this Karan Unnati? The police said that the car which hit Manav's car was registered under Karan's Name. Who is he?
He yelled furiously. 
Everybody was watching me intently. How should I tell them that who is he. But the thing which was making me boil in ager was that it was Karan who had hurt  my Manav.

It's bcoz of me that Manav is lying in the hospital...

I fell on my knees crying hard. Why does it always happen with me. Out of nowhere my mother in law grabbed my arm harshly and inquired me about Karan?

U- Maa...he iss...
MM- I asked who is Karan?
My mother in law shouted causing me to tremble with fear. In her eyes I could see flashes of anger, sorrow and frustration.

I closed my eyes and sighed. I told them everything that happened from start. I told them how we met Karan inthe plane and how he misbehaved with me, how Manav saved me and everything.As i ended my saying , I could see my parent' eyes were wet with tears but my Mother in law suddenly slapped me hard, making me fall on the floor.

MM- Ohh , so it's bcoz of you that my Son is in this condition. Wow ! I thought my son will live a peaceful life with you, but what did you do, You made his life hell.It's bcoz of you that he is in this critical condition. My poor son is fighting for his life bcoz of that Psycho lovers of yours. Who said to be so over friendly with that Manav?Do you like him?
She yelled at me .

U- M.om....
I barely managed to utter a word from my mouth . Her accusations were breaking me piece by piece.

MM- Leave My Son...
She said as it was to easy for me to leave my husband...my love..my whole freakin world.

MM- I want you to leave my son..

For a second I felt as if someone took my life from me. How could she say to leave Manav that easily. Is this some king of joke to her.

Can't she understand that leaving Manav is heartbreaking. When you are married , your lives become intertwined and thought of leaving your partner is terrifying.
No I can't leave him. No....Never.

U - Maa,, I can'ttttt...

MM- I am not asking your opinion , rather I am ordering you to leave. I can't see my son in pain and if he continues to stay with you, he will forever be in pain. You only have 10 minutes to see him for the last time.

Unnsu was feeling as her breathe struck. She began to cry harderm tears running down. She could hear her parents fighting and arguing with Manav's parents but all she could think was ...Her Husband..

Unnsu ran away from all those people and made her way out of the hospital. Unnsu yelled loudly, screaming at the top of her voice. The thought of losing Manav was making her shiver terribly. She squeezed her eyes shut and shouted loudly!!!

Meri ek khushi ka hai kaha pe  asmaan 
Rehbar ab na rahi mera chota karwaan
Tanha ek tinka ghum samandar hai yaha
Mera ae khuda yaa na ,  khuda hai ab kahan
Patthar si dasha meri
