Chapter 9- Mall and Shopping

Anna's POV

I woke up to Liam and Amber jumping on my bed "singing" at the top of their lungs. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! We are going to the mall for shopping! Because it's SUMMER!!! Said Liam. I know, Liam, big brother, excited for going to the mall to go shopping for shorts, tank top, shoes, and bathing suits.

'Alright. I'm up. Now would you please be kind enough to exit through the door, so I may shower and get dressed. I'll be down in a while for food.' I told them. 'Okay.' Amber said as she got off my bed, kissed my cheek, and left my room. Dang, that's new. Amber never does that. 'Fine. But if you aren't downstairs in half an hour, I'll be back.' Liam told me.

As he left, I crawled out of bed and got my clothes for today. Navy slip ons, jean frayed shorts, creme lace shirt, with a blue and black sweater, and my hair down and natural. Perfect to go shopping at the mall. I know what you're thinking, why isn't she still in school? Well for your information, the shooting happened after testing. It was June 8th and so they didn't worry about making us go back to school. It was pointless and nobody would have went after going through that. Ain't gonna happen.

Anyways, I showered, got dressed, did my hair and went downstaires for food. 'We eating here or the mall?' I asked no one in particular. 'We will eat at the mall, it's lunch time now.' Mama told me. 'Okay. Am I gonna need money?' I questioned. 'Nope, because me and dad plan to spoil y'all.' Liam told me. 'Fine.' I said.

'Alright. Where to first?' Mama asked. 'I don't think it matters. Food first?' Liam said. Yeah, sure. We all agreed. Once we got to the food court, we all found a table and went our seperate ways towards the food we wanted. Once we all got food and ate, we decided where to go. 'Okay I'll take Amber to go shop for some clothes and bathing suits. Liam you take Anna and we can meet back here in a while.' Mom said. 'Alright.' Liam said. Great, I get stuck with the over-protective brother. Note the sarcasm.

Shopping with Liam can be bad, depends what your shopping for. In this case, it was going to be bad.

Finally, home sweet home. Shopping with Liam wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected it to be. I got 4 bikini's, 5 pairs of shorts, a few tank tops and shirts, a pair of black high top converse, and a dress. I am completely exhausted but so ready for summer. 'I'll be upstairs in my room if you need me.' I shouted to everyone as I walked upstairs to my room. I grabbed my laptop and pulled up Netflix. Once I changed into some shorts and a tank top, I took my laptop, and crawled into bed.
