First Hand Disaster

Part 7- Sounds like fun

Anna's POV

Amber has always loved slides and monkeybars for as long as I can remember.

Once Liam and I found her she was at at the top of the slide waiting for us to get to where she was.

"Watch me! Watch what I can do." said Amber. As we always do, we watched Amber go down the slide like the 'big girl' she always says she is.

"Wanna go across the monkeybars?" I asked her.

"Yeah! Could you help me?" She asked Liam.

"Of course I'll help you, sweetie." Liam answered. As Amber grabbed onto the first bar, Liam held her legs so she wouldn't fall.

Once Amber got to the other side, with Liam's help, Mom and Dad had decided that it was time to go.

"Come on kids! Time to go home." Mom told us. As far as I could tell we were all okay with the idea of going home. Since it was 1:30, we should make it home about the time for Amber to take a nap.

~Back athome~

Amber had fallen asleep in the car, something about being in the car after the park just makes her go to sleep. It wasn't a bad thing. When we got home she was going to take a nap anyway. Since we just got home, Liam had to take Amber out of her carseat and into the house without waking her up, which should be easy because that kid can sleep through a bomb.

Mom gave me the keys so I could go ahead and open up the front door. I put the keys on the hall table and went up to my room. I heard the front door close and Liam climbing the stairs to get to Amber's room. Mine, Liam's, and Amber's rooms are all on the second story of our house. Mom and Dad's room is downstairs to the left of the front door. At times it's nice being on a different story of the house than your parents but sometimes it sucks. It can be nice if you have a sleepover. But it sucks if you get nightmares.

Just then, Liam came into my room and said "Amber is sleeping so even though she could sleep through a bomb, try to keep it down in here."

"Okay." I agreed with him.

"Mom and Dad just told me that they are going on a date night tonight." He told me.

"Good for them. So I'm going to assume that they will be leaving you on charge." I said back to him.

"Most likely yes. So I think that Amber, you, and me should have a movie night. Build a fort in the leaving room and watch disney movies cause we both know those are the movies that Amber will want to watch." He explained.

"Sounds like fun. Do you know when they are leaving for their date?" I asked.

"I think they are going out for dinner and the to a movie. So out of the house by 5:30 and back before midnight." Liam said.

"Okay." I said back.

Now I really can't wait for this evening to get started.
