I'm back! And I'll be updating Sunday and Wednesday from now on! Happy reading!
I have no clue how to write Tommy, as I never really watch his videos or streams, so point something out if I'm wrong!
TW- Blood, explosion, and war mentions, not too much detail- Be safe!
That one statement, that one phrase, brought reality crashing down on Tubbo. It hit him. It finally hit him that Ranboo did not remember anything. Ranboo's memory was gone, and with little hope of bringing it back, it seemed. He didn't remember. He didn't remember. Not remembering the server, Micheal, Tubbo, even himself, but not remembering his memory books? No, it seemed impossible. It was impossible. Until now. He couldn't believe it. In this mix of feelings, Tubbo didn't realize Ranboo drifting away.
Nothing was breaking Tubbo pit of his thoughts. Until a certain someone showed up. "Tubbo, my man, how you doing!" Tommy yelled, oblivious to the melancholy feeling of his friend. The dejected brunette turned to his friend to say "Hey..". Now, no matter how unaware Tommy was, he was able to tell that his friend was not as upbeat and happy tone as usual. And by Tommy's change of demeanor, Tubbo knew his sadness had been spotted. Not jumping to any conclusions, just wanting to be a good friend, Tommy simply said "Big T, what's up?" Sighing, Tubbo was about to turn to Ranboo to explain what was going on "Ranboo..?" Tubbo said, speaking to air. As, where Ranboo once stood was now a wall of nothing. He realized the half-enderman was no where to be seen. The amount of hysteria that leaked into his head was shielded by his anxiety.
A wave of stress hitting Tubbo, threatening to knock him to the floor. Seeing the amount of panic made Tommy realize that Tubbo was more then upset. The two teens were freaking out. Tommy, over his friend crying, and Tubbo over his friend missing. Tommy had to force down his own emotions, though, and went to console Tubbo. Putting a hand on his back, Tommy started to whisper to Tubbo that, "Everything's fine, big man, you're okay.."
Tubbo was crying, wanting to roll on the ground, and let out all of his emotions. But he couldn't. He had to at least try to make progress on finding Ranboo. And with a as much energy as he could give, Tubbo tried to get up, tried to go to find his husband, but found he was unable to move. Stuck in this place of devastation, Tubbo made an effort to remain strong. 'He can't have gone far...' was the only thought of help that crossed his mind. But little help can go a long way.
With great difficulty, Tubbo stood up, looking more confident then he felt, and picked a direction to look for Ranboo. He ended up picking north, and went there, with Tommy trailing behind, slightly in awe of Tubbo's mood change. Picking himself up, Tommy felt a moment of relief, happy that he didn't have to be the one to comfort his crying friend. And though he didn't know why Tubbo chose north, he didn't question it, and seeing the way Tubbo felt so pulled to it, Tommy trusted it. After all he had no proof to tell him that that was unsafe.
Tubbo POV
North was a safe-seeming direction. Inexplicably-with no clue why- I felt pulled to it, as if a stein was guiding me down the path. With only the fact that Ranboo was unable to have gone far as my consolation, I had to feel slightly upbeat. After thinking about the layout, I stopped, seeing a tall figure in the background, that I recognized as my platonic husband.
Ranboo's POV
Flashes of what happened here appeared in my mind, and for once I wanted to get rid of them. Images of TNT, withers, blood, and war put themselves in my mind. Trying to remain calm, I held in a sob of anguish, tears starting to run down my face. The pain only brought worse and worse pictures, the darkest ones highlighting themselves, fighting for top. The appearance tearing me up, making me want to crawl on the floor and claw at my head, but only making me find that I was unable to move. Tears streaming down my face, wanting to cry my heart out, was thoughts that I was a fool. A fool for thinking this server was peaceful. A fool for thinking that this could be anything but happiness and solitude. These things clouded my mind, making me almost oblivious to the yelling that was growing closer to me.
"Ranboo!"
"Ranboo, thank god, there you are!"
"T-Tubbo..?" I stumbled out, finally able to turn my head to see the brunette running at me. To slowly unhinged my limbs, slowly moving in Tubbo's direction.
"T-Tubbo!" I raised my voice, feeling as if I hadn't used it for years.
This is an updated version of a chapter that was already published, and will promptly be deleted after this chapter is published, as I really did not like it.
