Chapter 7 : The Night World and The First War of Overlords

the evangelion ships arrived at northern wall of the bright world from distance kiroro sees the separation world of bright and dark. darkness is near he can feel his body grew stronger and more flexible. he hold it in and pretends as he is like always. he knew as he step outside his body will morph and become greater thats why he will remained wearing the mask the tormenting armour to maintain the secrecy. on they way with the mother ship and hundreds more ships guarding them.
"are TRULY gonna land in short notice?"
asked one of kiroro lower rank admiral.
"of course we must.. we never knew about the difference of physics law on the dark world.. unless this mother ship none of the new tech have ever been flew into the dark world... this is a great opportunity to test it out while we dropping this ancient artifacts so called alters..."
kiroro point at one the cargo container. kajima left very nostalgic with the alters before the flight kajima request to have different ship because she have bad memories with the alters but kiroro insisted her to be with his side because he needed a emotional support from her going into the dark realm. kajima always shaking and nervous. sometimes have to hold her so she would fall and fainted.
"such strong women.. get scared that easily huh?"
kiroro teasing her. kajima give him the frown face as she about to leave kiroro. kiroro hold her hand and she felt kiroro hand also shaking.

she understand the position kiroro in as so do she. thats why kiroro wanted her to be with him so that both of them can count on each other in this mental state. soon kiroro sent order to drop mobile base to the ground so they can establish landing hanger for the ships. even with unlimited energy created by the mother ship being discreet in entree always be kiroro method to have the upper surprised attack toward the enemy. as soon the mobile base landed the vanguard class AT soldier reported everything. the atmosphere as expected toxic and the density of the gravity is greater and the humidity is dry. this place is dark desert as what the scientist called it. kiroro look at the data they provided and notice the toxicity of the air is similar to his body hazard. kiroro proceed with dropping the builder robots to build the base and landing place. not long after the robot landed it take only 20 minutes for entire whole fortress fit for the entire armada.
few days passed kiroro begun to place the alters in strategic location. but he didn't sense or find any living or dead beings near by. kiroro become to suspect this is a trap but then the scout drones return showing none life form or any magic near by but only ruins and trillions of buried corpses dark, bright and more the likes of war beings. shockingly there are large number of viromorth soldiers died out didn't get supplies power from their own mother ship. kiroro sent out lieutenant aberu to investigate to the area and order the remaining army to begin the expension of the base by building more and more road and power gird. soon all the preparation completely the mother ship finally landed kiroro step outside for the first time stepping his foot on the dark world. suddenly all his senses become open and he come widely stronger and more more relaxed them he ever felt before. shocked by the experience made him fall fainted to the ground kajima saw this and bring him back to ship.
meanwhile in his dream. he meet an old man seating on a bench alone feeding something on the ground. kiroro joined this old man.
"hello mister.. i know this might sound rude. but do i know you?"
kiroro asked unsure of his feeling of recognition. the old man laughed and show his face to kiroro with gentle smile. his face is very old but wise. his age didn't show weakness but greatness of his passed experiences.
"of course your current soul didn't.. but before your soul was reconstructed by the former self.. we are buddies.."
the old man then stop feeding the thing infront of him and look at kiroro waiting for his questions however kiroro become speechless and didn't know what to asked. the old man sighed and pat kiroro shoulder.
"i know you are scare because of the new stuff and new challenges you gonna face.. just because you have the nostalgic feeling and feel safe all the sudden doesn't mean its bad or a trap.. its just simply means you are home.."
kiroro blessed by those words he felt a courage to speak now.
"then what should i do?"
"another easy question.. you are truly who you were.. kiroro the simple and direct person.. some may found you very stupid asking but to few its very honest genuine wisdom.."
he point at the front showing kiroro the creatures he keep feeding. kiroro show crows very beautiful crows. unlike the usual sight of crows this crows a beautifully shiny and mesmerizing to watch.
"for now... you need to seek what is lost and gathered all your forces that you have abandoned.. they needed you.. before the red king reawaken"
the old man show a distressed face as he spoke of the red king. kiroro about to wake up but in the last moment of that dream the old man said.
"by the way.. since this is our first reintroduction.. i am gaia.. i am earth"
shockingly he was waited by lieutenant aberu instead of kajima.
"hello and good morning master.."
aberu said then aberu serve a table of breakfast and juice.
"eat first master.. we have alot of things to discuss"
as kiroro eating soon another general entered the room lieutenant aberu give the general dislike look but kiroro insisted.
"what is it?"
"sorry for the interruption but.. we need you on the mother ship.. the ship doing stuff without any command"
kiroro stop eating and look at the general.
"ohh really?..now that is interesting.."
lieutenant aberu didn't know of this he look at kiroro find confirmation.
"don't worry aberu.. since you never corporate between the larger ship before.. this is normal.. since you already know THIS ship especially the this mother ship.."
lieutenant aberu submitted to the answer and so do the general. kiroro give the general the face to get out of the room. general laughed uncomfortably as he walked outside.
kiroro then asked aberu fully concerned about the result might be.
"what did you find?"
"forgive me master.. admiral v somehow deactivated and likely needed your alphas call to summon him... but since this body of yours is new.. you needed to find your corpse "
kiroro sighed showing how disturbed he is about that matter.
"well its fine.. as long i have to manually control the mother ship for now... we wouldn't have problem.. lets just hope it didn't get AWOL as we proceed finding the body.."
aberu then asked.
"do you know where?"
kiroro place his finger on aberu lips and hushing him. aberu then realized someone is listening to them. aberu bow at kiroro and proceed to punch the wall dragging out leader of pharalax out from the wall.
"you have no shame do you?"
aberu said that shame by her actions.
but then kiroro pardon her instead kiroro asked a favor for her to do.
" i need to move with all the pharalax far far away to the east and meet with empress of kitsune and the queen of moon.. asked them of my favor.. "
she felt weird but she do as kiroro said and leave immediately. kajima enters the room. fully in dress and express shy. kiroro fully surprised by the beauty.
"that's for you.. what the occasion?"
kajima smacked kiroro head for teasing her. kiroro and kajima laughed but then she hand over a party invitation.
"this arrived at our doorstep yesterday while you fainted. its one of the adventure society of free mercenary and merchant. this legion working on both side and know to have fair and justified share for both side intel. kiroro didn't seems to show any suspicion toward them and accepted the invitation. kajima in other hand have hard time believing them so does most human because they are the first dark beings they have encountered so far and no army near by made it more weirder. kiroro still wear the image armour and helm to prevent recognition among the merchant from exploiting them some intel.
"whats the plan?"
asked kajima. kiroro hand over her kazurami sword and said.
"we playing the same game as we always been in creed mission.. i am mr. grey and you are ms. kama as wise.."
kajima smiles as she place her incognito mask on. both of them laughed evilly as they walked to the ship. soon they arrived surprisingly there are large banquet and canopies in the middle of black desert. lively as any party would and as expected from the great founders of free adventure and merchant guild. kiroro landed and followed by his best servants and kajima's servants.
" just dont get yourself over excited over things ok.. mr grey"
mr. grey spank ms kama and laughed as they step outside of the ship.
soon they crowd people become quiet and stare at them arrived. kiroro felt a presence of god among this merchant his eyes directed a demon wearing a half mask angel. this demon is old almost as old kiroro babysitter but wiser and more cunning. form the gaze itself kiroro knew this is not the god you wanna messed with. this demon stand and greeted them.
"WELCOME.. TO OUR ADVENTURE PARTY!! OUR SPECIAL GUEST.. SON OF RED AND DAUGHTER OF HATE!!"
ms. kama whispers.
"what is he talking about?"
mr.grey respond.
"maybe that's our alias to hide the truth.. i see now.. he is the founder and the leader of this guild.. we should be cautious and show manners around him.."
ms.kama nodded and proceed to followed mr.grey footsteps carefully. the crowd turn back to normal as mr.gery and ms.kama goes to meet with the demons. the demon's servants give them a drink and a greet to seat next to the half masked demon.
"pardon me from early.. i see you both received my letter then it would be nice for me to help out an introduction out here.. everything is ears and eyes to both side.. you just gotta know which will lead to your survival or next to someone mouth.."
those words mr. grey felt very nostalgic.
"may i asked what lords or gods of war arrived at my territory of business?"
he asked.
"yes i am mr. grey merchant god and also god war of machines.. and this is my associates ms. kama the grandmaster of swordsmanship.. at your acquaintance"
"yes yes.. ohh sorry i am crues son of the abandoned god lords.. the chaos of great larger domain from her to the norgiana territory.."
kiroro realized the drink they were given are not poison just plain blood. he take a few sip as crues begun to explain.
"as you well aware i am not inviting anyone normally to mu crowd party.. unless its an important business.. unlike the last time i tried.."
"last time?" mr grey asked.
"well few hundred years ago i sent two letters to two powerful empress of bright gods.. which would benefit both of us... but they purposely rejected and considered my invitation as kids play.."
mr grey knew those two empress are minami and madame.
"well since you accepted my invitation.. now i face to face striking a deal.."
"a deal?"
"you see the dark territory is mess and now its a great opportunity for great victory glory for the bright.. i know many marching army has move into the dark world.. which is to me a great chance for business"
"what is that supposed to be?"
crues laughed so hard and slap his thighs many time.
"listen.. i am dark being.. a high race demon.. i wanted all demon wanted.. chaos and pain.. but unlike my predecessors.. i am very likely wanted to sale and make money out of it.."
"chaos is not possible to be materialized thats easily"
"nono you get it wrong.. this is dark world.. every single drop of magic and chaos can be materialized if it reach certain requirements.. "
"and that is?"
"dead!... yes a lot of dead!!"
mr grey realized how much value dead is to the dark being.
"so its true.. you all dark being will devour anything even corpses of your allies.."
crues laughed again but this time he stop with dead serious face staring at kiroro in his armour pretending to be mr grey.
"WELL YES.. WE ARE.. THOSE GLORY DAY HAS BEEN FORGOT. OUR GLORY DAYS AS LONG TIME ENDED.. THERE IS MORE LEADER OR KINGS KIN TO RULE US.. THATS MEAN FREEDOM TO ALL OF US"
mr. grey bow and apologized but crues didn't mind and forgive him.
"we provide you chaos and in what return?" mr grey tries to end this prolonged discussion.
"well thats easy.. information and a peace of mind from other merchant from eavesdropping you for the dark beings.."
mr grey knew that is a great deal but the demon never fully place fairness or justify in any deal.
mr grey bravely accepted it and they proceed to handshake. not long after the party ended kiroro and kajima leaves them.
