i woke up to a loud thunder sound and jumped up in my spot. i turned around to see rae was still asleep which i'm not surprised about. i felt like my mouth was really dry though and thought i should get some water. even though rae was a heavy sleeper i still wanted to be as quiet as possible for the other people sleeping here. i went out into the kitchen when i heard no other noise then poured myself a glass. mid sip i heard a door open and footsteps approaching so i put my glass down and covered my face. then from around the corner came toast. i jumped a bit and kept apologizing then was on my way back to the room. then another door opened and it was sykkuno.

"is everything okay?" he says coming out his room. i'm still covering my face and mute. i nodded my head, with my face covered, when a really loud thunder struck. i gasped and moved in closer to sykkuno. i used one hand to cover my face and the other one to hold onto him. he pulled me into his bedroom and set me on his bed. at this point my heart and racing and my face was burning hot. there was a lot going on that my head couldn't keep up. "im okay you don't have to worry" i say quietly and timidly. "i just wanna make sure you're okay" he says coming up to me to turn on a bedside lamp. it was a warm orange color and it lit up his face beautifully. it's just something i couldn't explain. he looked down and me and we just chuckled a bit. i was a bit more comfortable with him so i put my hand down and tried doing it casually.

"um so sykkuno you have a cool room" i say looking around. when i was doing that i realize that he wouldn't take his eyes off of me. when i looked back he looked away and scratched his neck. "oh yea it's pretty cool..." he sighs. i couldn't help but giggle. i looked at the corner of his room to see he had a acoustic guitar on a stand. "ooh that's a nice guitar where'd you get it?" i say pointing at it. "i bought it a couple years ago from a random guitar store. i haven't practiced in a while so i'm rusty" he went to grab it then sat next to me. i gave him some space and just listened and watched. as soon as he started strumming i couldn't stop looking at him. he looked and sounded so beautiful. the chords he played mixed e with eachother so well and his fingers pulling on the strings i just couldn't control myself. when his song was done he just looked at me and laughed. i gave him a soft clap and chuckled. "you're pretty freaking good i feel embarrassed about my skills" "aw come on you said you write songs right? can you play me one of your songs?" he says passing me the guitar. i looked down at it and got it ready. should i play the song i made about him?

when i finished i messed up the last chords and let out a exaggerated sigh and looked at him. he looked at awe and it made me embarrassed. i out the guitar down and got up. "thank you sykkuno for letting me spend some time here and playing for you. it was fun but now i need to go" i gave him a awkward high five then headed for the door but he followed me and grabbed my arm and made me stop. "i'm sorry but...i really like spending time with you. can we hang out more often?" he says with furrowed brows and these big doe eyes. how could i say no? i nodded and smiled before finally returning back to rae's room and finally sleeping
