chapter - 4

It was midnight when taehyung woke up hearing some noises.

He realized someone was banging his door.

He opened the door and saw jungkook, he was sweating.

" Taehyung! "

" What happened? Are you okay? " Asked taehyung concerned.

Jungkook held taehyung's hand and drag him towards jaehoon's room.
It was the first time when jungkook held his hand not in a drunken state.

When they both get inside taehyung looked at jaehoon who was crying.

Taehyung quickly sit beside him asked jungkook " What happened to him? "

" I don't know I just came to check him and saw him crying, he has fever and... " Jungkook was panicking. He was so scared he after seeing him, he just run towards taehyung's room.

Taehyung checked jaehoon's temperature.

" Omg he is burning. I think we should take him to the hospital. "
Said taehyung.

" Jungkook! " Taehyung called Jungkook who looks like he is in shock.

" He will be fine right? " Jungkook asked taehyung.

Taehyung looked at him and said said " Of course he will be fine. He is strong Just like his dad. Now let's go. "

He took jaehoon in his arms and put a blanket around him. Jaehoon wasn't crying loudly and looked like he is passing out.

" It's ok baby. You will be fine. " Said Taehyung patting his back.

They both reached the hospital.

" Excuse me Miss, we need a doctor for our son. It's an emergency ! " Said taehyung in the reception.

The receptionist looked at them and said " Okey fill this form submit it and then with till I call you. "

" Are you kidding me right now. My son is sick. He needs a doctor right now! " Shouted taehyung angrily. Because of his shouting the she get scared. She called someone and a nurse came.

" Take them to Dr kim, room 306"
The nurse nodded and told them to follow her.
Taehyung glared at the receptionist before following her.

Dr kim was a nice person. He immediately checked jaehoon and start giving his treatment.

They both were waiting outside.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook, who was litterly shaking. He went close to him and to his surprised Jungkook hugged him.

" I am scared.. " Said Jungkook while hugging him tight.

At first because of shock taehyung didn't hug him back but later he hugged him back and caresses his back and asked

" Why are you scared? "

" Jaehoon, he is my new hope, my dream, my everything. I don't want to lose him. "

" You will not. He will be fine.... " Taehyung was scared for jaehoon but seeing jungkook's state he decided not to show it.

" I am not strong.... "

" Shh... " Taehyung didn't let him finish and said

" You are thinking too much. He will be fine. "

" Um Mr.... " The doctor called them.

They both entered jaehoon's room and saw him sleeping peacefully.
The doctor told them he will be fine. It's just a viral fever. ( I have no idea about children's fever 😅)

Jungkook just looked at taehyung.
He was so worried about jaehoon, he should have dislike jaehoon because it was his ex's child. But he takes care of jaehoon like he's his own child. How can he forgot because of this child's mother he never loved him. It has been three years since they got married. He never tried to get close with him, he never asked money, he never told him to take care of him, even he always made breakfast and dinner for Jungkook and waited for him even after knowing he will come home drunk.

"How can you still live with me? Is this because of your father's wish. You are the perfect life partner everyone wants. You deserve someone better. Why taehyung? why you are excepting jaehoon like he is your own son? " Jungkook asked without thinking about the situation. He head was busting out with all these thoughts.

Taehyung looked at him and smiled. He was happy at least Jungkook is talking to him.

" Shh, don't make noise or baby with get disturbed. Let's go outside. " Said taehyung and called a nurse to stay with jaehoon.

They both came outside. They were in front of the hospital garden.

" Your first question is why I am still living with you even after knowing you will never love me?

It's simple. Because of my one sided love for you. It doesn't let me leave you in pain alone.

Is it because of my father's wish?
No it's not.

If you think I am the perfect life partner then why don't you appreciate me Jungkook?

If you think I deserve someone better then why don't you became that person?

I don't need someone better I need you, taehyung came close to Jungkook.

Why I am excepting jaehoon like he is my own son?
He isn't mine but he is yours. He is a part of you. Whenever I look at him reminds me of myself.
Do you know Jungkook my mother didn't die, she left me and my father for someone else. Even though my dad never let me feel like I don't have another parent. In every christmas I used to pray to God for my mom.

I don't want jaehoon to feel the same. I want to become his mother, it's a big thing to say I know but I just fel in love with his doe eyes, chubby cheeks and his bunny smile.

I just want to free you from your pain, your past. You are ruining yourself, not thinking about your parents who loves you and just want to see you happy. "

Taehyung cupped his face and said " Free yourself Jungkook. Now you have your hope with yourself, jaehoon. Your son needs your love. You have to be strong for him now. "

Jungkook teared up, he looked at taehyung with glossy eyes and said " I can't taehyung, it's hard to free myself from those memories I had with her. How taehyung? How can I free myself? "

" I can help you Jungkook. I will help you to start a new life. You just have to give me your permission. "

Jungkook hugged him and said

" You have my permission. Help me to forgot all of her memories. Make me smile again. It hurts.

I want to live taehyung, I want to live for jaehoon, for you. "
