(y/n) POV

"Master." I said shakily, "(y/n) enough worrying. Worrying will not change anything." Master said, "B-but Master! Why did she want me! You're stronger than I am!" I said, "Because I am not stronger than you, I am more experienced. I'm truth I will never be nearly as strong as you." she said as she meditated, "In all likelihood, the Inquisitor is after you for your strength. She likely wants to make you her apprentice and turn you against the rebellion." she said, "Did you both really think it would be that easy? That after a few hours of uneasy rest that you could defeat me?!" Ina said angrily as she threw boulders at us. We cut through them as best we could, but we only gave her more ammunition to use behind us. I ended up getting hit in the back and shoulder. When I fell I hurt my other shoulder. Without my help, Master was quickly overwhelmed and pinned down. "Goodbye, Jedi." Ina said as she prepared to kill Master, "NO STOP!" I cried as her arm began to fall, "I'LL JOIN YOU!" I cried making her stop, "Please if you spare her, I'll do anything you want." I begged, "You are in luck, Jedi. Your former apprentice is smart and I'm feeling generous at the moment." she said as she retracted her lightsaber, "Come, we have much ground to cover." she said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me away.

"We shall stop here to rest." Ina said as she shoved me into a cave. I winced in pain. Ina started a fire and saw I was in pain. She probably enjoyed seeing me like this, weak and crippled. "Are you hurt?" she asked, "What?" I said, "You we're hit pretty hard in the shoulder, and you fell on the other even harder. Plus you've clearly been in pain for at least a good while now." she said, "So what if I am! You probably like the sight." I said, "I'm not a monster. Here let me take a look." she said as she came closer. She placed her hands on my shoulders and I could feel her using the force. Slowly the pain began to fade until it was completely gone and my injuries were completely healed, "H-How?!" I asked in amazement, "Darling, dark and light are just titles. Sith, Jedi, we are all the same." she said, "When I learned of my power, I was so scared. I was scared of myself, scared of what I could do. Scared of being different. But one man looked past all my walls and all my fear and I fell in love. But I now know that I was a fool. He went behind my back and had a child with another woman. I was scared of becoming a stepmom, but I was also excited." she said as she sat down next to me, "I never got the chance to meet my stepson. He was taken from me when I went to train in the ways of the force. My love took the child and ran after he killed the mother of his son. I hunted him down and struck him down hoping to save the child, but no matter what I did the child eluded my grasp...until now." she said, "You are my long lost child. A fellow child of Mandalor just like me." she said, "I'm a Mandalorian?" I said, "Yes my darling. Have you noticed how combat skills come more naturally to you?" she asked I nodded, "We Mandalorians are warriors. Armor and weapons are in our blood and souls! Do you see now why it is that I so desperately wanted you. I'm your family and I want to teach you all that I know and more! If you'll let me." she said, "I-I don't know. I do like the idea of learning from family, but the Empire is bad and hurt people. I don't wanna be any part of that." I said, "Who said you were joining the Empire? You will serve under me and I only serve the Empire to achieve my own goals. One of those goals being you." she said as she put her arm around me, "Just think about it this way. You and I will one day rule this galaxy together as mother and son." she said, "But I already have a mommy. She might not look like me and she might not be around very much, but she loves me. She's my mommy." I said, "Your loyalty to your false mother is adorable. But ultimately misplaced. You belong to me now and you will learn that I am all you will ever need." she said.
