The next few days had gone by quick, and the routines of both boys stay normal. Minho wakes up early every morning to make Jisung and himself breakfast (more specifically the chocolate chip pancakes per Jisung's request), he goes to school, he works during the nighttime, and he goes home to crash on his bed. Jisung follows Minho every step of the way and guards the boy from a distance.
And today was no different. Currently, Minho sat in his sociology class, writing notes of his lecture while Jisung sat on the floor letting that unsettling feeling grow once again inside. Every time Minho stepped foot into the classroom, Jisung could sense the danger and negativity looming around. The gut warning he was experiencing was something he always felt when he was near a demon. Jisung would get entirely paranoid by this and wrap a wing protectively around the human boy.
Minho would always ponder on Jisung's actions only during this specific period. He never spoke on the matter though.
As the two boys were walking home, Jisung kept a wing lightly wrapped around Minho's body. Minho could sense how strained and uptight Jisung felt today, but like usual, he would keep the matter to himself. He knew that he had a wing hugging him for a reason, and the reason should worry him, but the only thing clouding Minho's mind was how safe he felt under Jisung's wings.
Jisung felt entirely uneasy the past few days and today was no better. He was on edge for not getting really anywhere with his job. He was supposed to be leading his angel army and training them for future battles if any. Jisung was no guardian angel and he has no past training of one. He didn't know where to start on how to be a guardian angel, and sadly, there was no handbook on the rules and tips. Chan withholding information about Minho's case adds even more stress on Jisung's shoulders. He doesn't understand why things are being kept from him, especially if they need him to succeed in protecting a future Angelus Amet.
Scouring through his head for ideas, Jisung fell short on what he could do for a few minutes. He then sighed coming to one conclusion that he wasn't sure would work, but Jisung would sure try.
Minho and Jisung both reached the human's home, and when Minho unlocked the door, Jisung bolted inside and up the stairs. Minho knit his brows together in confusion. "Jisungie?"
"Yeah?" Jisung yelled from upstairs.
Minho quietly shut the door and locked it before pattering up the stairs. He made his way to the guest room to see Jisung fumbling through his large black duffel back. Minho leaned against the doorway and folded his arms. "What are you doing?"
"Looking for something." Jisung muttered, not taking his eyes off the duffel.
"Yeah clearly."
Jisung snorted as a response.
"But what for?"
Jisung hummed as he continued to dig through his large bag. He let out a small 'ah' and took out a small rectangular device with a few buttons. "This." Jisung smiled at Minho, waving around the small object.
"And that is..." Minho waved his hand in a circle, gesturing for Jisung to go on. The angel stood up and walked past Minho, pressing a few buttons along the way to the living room.
"It's a pager. I'm paging a demon hunter and sending out our location so the first hunter to receive it can arrive as quickly as possible. You know if they're not busy." Jisung muttered the last sentence. "Every demon hunter in the area will see this call for help. One will accept the page request and come by. Of course only angels have this tool as well."
"Why do we need a demon hunter? What's going on?" Minho's heart began to pick up a speedy rate thinking about all the concerning signs he's been missing around him.
