Part one...

I looked at the mirror and sighed. Not sighing as a bad thing. Not sighing like the world will end. Or sighing after all the stars lose their light. I'm done with that But now I'm sighing as a good thing. Like the feeling you get when your crush smiles at you. Or the feeling you get after getting a good grade on the math test you stayed up all night thinking about. Sighing like there is nothing wrong with you. Because I am one step closer to perfect. Not that I will ever reach the final step. But I at least gained one step.

I stepped on the weighing scale, waiting for the numbers to stop moving. I cannot believe it used to be a fear of mine. A big fear. Now it's like a normal thing to me. I waited until the numbers came to a complete stop. 128.7, 126.9, 124.4. That was how much I weighed now. After a long hard year, I managed to reduce more than sixty pounds. That 186 pound Jessica is finally gone. Gone.

As I looked at the mirror again. I imagined my old self smiling back at me, saying that I've proved myself to become the person I wanted to be.

I brought that smile out of the bathroom, only to be greeted by my awesome dog, Pluto. I named Pluto after Mickey Mouse's dog. Pluto because it reminded me of the golden skin they both have. Pluto was a three year old golden retriever. He is pretty small, but extremely hyper. Pluto completed my family.

Speaking of my family, it included my mom and dad, my oldest brother, Jonathan, who was in. College, and my other older brother, John, who was a senior in a birding high school. I was the youngest. I am going to sophomore year in high school. I have brown hair like my dad and John, and hazel eyes, like my mom and John. John and I looked similar, unlike Jonathan, who had dirty blonde hair, and chocolate eyes. Sometimes I get jealous of his features.

Anyway, Pluto ran around me a dozen of times holding a red leash, which obviously meant that he wanted to go for a walk. So I grabbed. Y phone and hoodie, trying to wear my sweatpants at the same time.

The cool fall breeze swept through my hair. I love fall a lot because the leaves always turned into beautiful colors, and the weather is almost perfect all the time, for me.

As I turned the corner of the side walk, I hear distant loud voices. I look foreword to see who it was, but suddenly regretted it.

It was my bully, Aaron, and his friend, Ian. I could it believe it.

Aaron had short blonde hair that glistened in the sun, a faint tan that glowed, and brown eyes that can melt you. I used to have a crush on him a lot, but that was before he bullied me. Now all I see is black. Dark, dark black.

He was the first person who started to bully me. I never knew what I did to him. I hate him so much

Unlike Aaron, Ian is the annoying, yet sweet guy. He was alway annoying to everyone, yet he was the one to comfort you at the end. He was really nice to me that one time in middle school, he stood up for me. He had light brown hair, and ice blue eyes, that would make you freeze if you look at the for too long. I cannot believe that someone like him would be friends with someone like Aaron.

Apparently Ian saw me with his cold blue eyes, and kept staring. Aaron turned and started to after sometime. And the, Aaron did the most horriblest thing ever in the history of the universe, and walked up to me.

I wanted to run away so bad, but if I wanted him to fall at his feet by the end of the year, I would have to start by flirting with him

So I looked him in the eyes, and smiled.

THIS IS THE FIRST PART ONLY. I KNOW IT'S BORING BUT THE NEXT IS BETTER
