Cafeteria dramaa

Part four...

I jogged outside after saying goodbye to my mom. She didn't question about the noise a few minutes ago, so that must have meant that she didn't hear anything.

It was a sunny day today. There was some wind here and there as I walked to school.

When I entered school grounds, I saw a bunch of familiar faces.

Last year, I told everyone that I was moving, including a few of my best friends, which was truly heartbreaking. but I didn't want to get bullied and I wanted to start my life all over again.

Everyone was waving at each other, hugging, catching up, and all that. While I was standing still, not knowing what to do.

The doors opened and everyone rushed into the building.

488 was my homeroom number, so I looked around until I found it.

A nice looking lady smiled at me when I entered her room.

"Hi, I'm miss Mandy!" She greeted. "You are?"

"Jessica" I answered. There were two other people in the class right now. One was an ugly looking nerd guy, who was staring at me, making me feel uncomfortable. The other one was an okay looking guy who was reading a book.

"You sit next to Derek." miss Mandy pointed at the nerd. I shivered but smiled at him.

The chair made the annoying sound whenever I pull it and sat down. Derek stared at me, and scooted much, much closer that I was getting a bit suffocated. I coughed, but he didn't get the hint.

"Yo Derek she's wayyyy outa your league." the boy that was reading before, hollered. A couple of kids started laughing. And I was blushing.

"You wanna fight?" Derek asked.
"Nah. I don't wanna make anymore of a fool than you already are." the cute guy said. "But I will." He smacked Derek's glasses off and stepped on it. I was in shock. There unfortunately was no teacher around. I remember getting bullied, and I hate seeing anyone else as a victim like me.

"STOP IT!" I yelled. "Stop hitting him!"

The "mean but cute guy" walked over to me, with a confused look on his face.

"I saved your fucking ass! And you take his side?" he asked, smacking my butt.

"He isn't mean for no reason, unlike you!"

"He started it though!" The "cute but mean guy" said, acting like a five year old. Plus he stomped his foot.

"Well stop hitting him. it's not nice."

"Hahaha. She said its not nice." Everyone in the room started laughing. I was embarrassed. Fortunately the bell rang and everyone sat in their seats.

I made a friend named Rachael and she was very sweet to me. She had short brown hair and blue eyes with glasses. Unfortunately, Rachael does not have many close friends, so the lunch table we sat at was quite empty.

"Oh no" she whispered. "Don't look now, but Nathan is coming over."

Nathan? I turned around and saw the "cute but mean guy" walking toward our table.

Why was he coming here? Is he going to embarrass me even more? Oh no! I'm going to get bullied again!

"Hey." he sat down next to me. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened in the morning. I didn't mean to hurt you." he apologized.

"Awww. I'll accept your apology." I smiled and he stood up.

"Come on. You seem bored here. Let's go to my table." He said. I hesitated for a second. I don't think this is going to end well.

"Okay, but can I bring Rachael?" I asked. I didn't want to leave her all alone after she was do nice to me. Plus, she can be my sidekick for when we defeat these doucebags and save the world!

Nathan looked at Rachael a bit disgusted, then muttered something.

"What?"

"I- uhh sure she can come." He said. I smiled again and looked at her. She had a frightened face for some reason.

We stood up and Nathan wrapped one of his arms around my waist.

"Oh and by the way, I'm Nathan." He leaned forward.

"I know- I mean cool! I'm Jessica." I corrected. I didn't want him to see me as a stalkerish person. I think he noticed because he stopped walking for a second, but then continued.

We walked up to his table, and I instantly recognized everyone. There was Ian talking to some cheerleader. And there was Justin and Austin, who were annoying twins. But they were known for pranking every teacher, since middle school. Also, there was Kayla, who was awesome at basketball and math, talking to Henry, a football jock. And there were a couple other cheerleaders surrounding him(obviously). Finally, there was the "power couple": Aaron and Emily. They were dating for almost a year, and were like the rulers of our grade. And both of them bullied me a lot, so they're most likely not my favorite people.

Nathan introduced me to everyone, and some were kind enough to say hi.

When Nathan introduced Aaron and Emily to me, they both looked up from their conversation.

"What do you want, Nathan?" Emily asked in a bitchy tone. " Can't you tell I'm--"

"Hey! It's you! Jessica, right?" Aaron said. I was surprised. He seemed...happy to see me.

"Yeah." I said.

"Whoa. Who the fuck are you, and WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO MY BOYFRIEND!" She yelled. Drama queen.

The cafeteria quieted down. I turned around and saw everyone staring at us.

"This BITCH better not be near you!" Emily yelled to Aaron. "She's the slutiest slut I have ever seen." she said, looking at my clothes.

"Chill down, dude. She just moved in to my neighborhood and I said hi." Aaron said, like it was no big deal.

"Did you just call me dude? You are the fucking dude here! I'm the girl and you should be on my side because YOU are MY boyfriend!" She yelled those two words with her squeaky, annoying voice of hers.

Then, all of a sudden, she slapped Aaron hard in the face and ran out if the cafeteria.

Aaron jumped out of his seat and ran after her. The entire room stayed quiet.

After a minute or so, Nathan turned to me with the weirdest face ever.

"Whoa." he said." I think you just saved  our lives." He started to smile, and gave me a quick tight hug.

"Thank you!" He said. And everyone cheered.

"What do you mean?" The bell rang.

"I'll explain later." he said and jogged away.

I looked at Rachael, and she just shrugged.

So this is the chap! Hope u liked it. I made it a bit longer so, yea! All the drama was intentional. I wanted Emily to be a bi*chy character. Also, I really like Nathan. He seems like a cool guy. My fav character so far. Plus Ian seem cool too! Anyway, vote comment and follow! ;)
