-Luna's P.O.V.-

My heart was racing but I fought to keep a cool demeanor.

This Luke Guy was really confusing me.. One second he fed on my fear. But once we were alone he changed entirely.

My hand went up to the beautiful collar at my neck. I'd always thought it disgusting for a girl to be owned by a man. I'd only just turned 18 and my filthy grandfather had already sold me. But the collar felt normal.

"I can't believe this!" Luke grumbled in the drivers seat. "I told you I wanted them gone when I returned! Are you so useless that you can't shoo a few pups back to their pack?!" He seemed angry at the Guy on the other end of the phone.

Oh no. I stiffened. Had he said pack? I really hoped I was dreaming. I had been stolen from my pack... and my mate. If Luke was a werewolf.. I swore under my breath. My mate had a right to steal me back and I didn't entirely want to go. My pack had treated me like I had been an omega. Worthless to the needs of the pack. I was determined not to go back.

Though my heart broke for my mate. Derek was going to be forced to find a new mate. I sighed. My poor sweet mate... Well before...

I shook my head and cleared my throat. "Pack?" I asked as he closed his phone.

His grip tightened on the wheel. "Uhm.. my gang per say. I have many followers." he said as he turned into an exit.

I rolled my eyes. Definitely a werewolf. Now I just needed to find out his rank and pack.

"So where are we?" I asked looking around. It was like farmland. Only two houses in view. I gave a smile. I would love running here.

"No place special darling." He smiled and pulled into the nearest house's driveway. "This will be your home. You're welcome to come and go as you please. I will get you a car once youre all settled in." He climbed out and ran to my side of the car to open my door.

I stared at him not moving from my seat. "Why are you so kind?" I asked.

He frowned and bent down to my level. He was so close I could smell peppermint chocolate coming from his breath.

"My darling Luna... Its proper to be kind to someone so pretty." He grinned at me, kindness in his brown eyes. He stroked my cheek and I leaned into it. I was desperate for contact with another being. A warm touch grandfather had kept me from.

He smiled. "Come on. I have someone waiting inside for you." He took my hand and led me to the run down porch. I smiled more when he didn't let go to open the door.

I gasped. A beautiful Siberian Husky sat infront of Luke obediently. She had crystalline blue eyes contrasting her black and white fur. I watched her look at Luke lovingly as he scratched her ears.

"Her name is Skyla." He told me and I knelt down to pet her.

"She's so beautiful..." I said, eyes sparkling. The dog leaned against my hand as I pet her.

"She's also very loyal... and protective." He said watching me praise his dog. "And she wears a collar much like the one I gave you..." he grinned.

I looked at her collar. The only difference was Skyla's collar was a blue that matched a summer sky.

I looked up at Luke. "Does this have some meaning?" I asked and raised an eyebrow.

"Ah hah... No. Not at all darling." He said scrating his neck.

Lies. I snickered and turned back to Skyla.

"I'm sure you two will get along. And if you need anything... Anything at all, you just tell Skyla to get me darling." Luke then proceed to walk into the house toward what I assumed was his room.

"Uhm... what about clothes?" I asked.

He turned around and pointed to laptop sitting on a couch in the living room. "Everything is set up for you. All you need to do is buy what you want and hit ship." he gave me a smile.

"Do I have a limit?" I asked.

Luke smiled more. "Not at all." he said.

I was going to run this man bankrupt. Once he left the room I looked at Skyla after diving for the lap top. "How bout some yummy bones girl?" I said. Her tail wagged. "You're going to adore me Skyla." I whispered and logged onto the laptop.
