George watched her as she swiftly turned on her heel and strode out of there. He was dazed. Her words seemed to have hit him like a bus.

She was right. Fred was gone. Everyone had got on with their lives, but here he sat, getting drunk, passing out, crying himself to sleep, nearly bleeding to death.

And for what. There was no benefit from this. All it ended with was pain, and hurt.

He had to do something about it.

He thought of all the times he made her laugh. How her smile made his whole face turn the same shade of his hair. How she would yell at him and Fred for testing on 1st years and how she looked so cute with her nose crinkled and her eyes fuming with rage.

He thought of how he chickened out of asking her to the Yule Ball, than found her crying on the steps. Curtesy of his brother. The git he was.

How he had been in love with her since the moment he first saw her, and how he wanted to grow old with her, and have a family.

This was the woman he was in love with. Hermione was right. Fred would want him to fall in love, even though he already had been for years. He was in love with Hermione.

That's my first resolution. Tell the girl of my dreams I'm in love with her and snog her until my lips are numb and sore.

I got up, wrapping the bandages around my severed hands and wiping the tears off my face. My eyes were still red and glassy. I tousled my already messy hair and made my way to Hermione's room.

It was the first time I left my room since Fred died. I tried to be quiet. It was late and the sky was dark. I walked up the crazy stairs and saw a light emitting itself from under the girls room.

I already knew Ginny wasn't there. I knocked slowly and got a soft. "Come in."

I entered and my heart almost stopped at what I saw.

Hey guys!! Sorry for being gone for so long. I just got caught up in the gist of things. But now it's summer break! Hope you enjoyed!
