Chapter 16

Falcon POV..

When we reach home..my brothers were all over me. We cried and laughed. I apologized to them for running away.

But when I saw mom..she broke down in tears but she didn't come and hug me like my brothers she left the room instead.

I turned to dad..

"She is happy your back. She is just sad that the secret we tried to keep buried we have to expose it. It also brought up old wounds", he said sadly..

That night we all sit in dads Office . He locked the door just after mom came in.. She came over to me and hug me.

Huh?

"I missed you my sweet boy", she said and smiled. I hugged her back and breathe.

We all took  a seat and wait.

"Finally..!, Fazil exclaimed,.....too many suspense have been going on around here...and as much as I  use my brains I couldn't figure things out..."

Fazil continued.." what did Falcom found and don't lie to us Moma and Dad...

Mom and dad looked at each other.

"We are not your biological parents"

I close my eyes and breathe. I knew this but actually hearing them speak about it was something else.

My eyes shot open when I heard laughing.

Fazil was laughing.

Fallon was just quiet.

"Mom and Dad.. you have jokes.." Fazil said...

"Listen! Fazil",  I said.

He frown. I knew Fazil will not take this news good.

Mom continued.

I was born In Barbados. But when I was 16 my father moved us to America for me to study at Harvard.

I always go back to visit my best friend Rebecca. Rebecca wasn't like me..she didn't came from a rich family. But I didn't care. She was an amazing person whom I loved dearly. One day Rebecca called me and told me she has found the love of her life and he had asked her to marry him. I was so happy for her. But when I went back to Barbados for their engagement party I was shocked. Her fiancé was none other than the Roy Washington. He owns billions of dollars even have several islands. It was a old  family they were one of the family that developed Barbados. Whose motto was " Get rich without violence "....yea...the family has their hands in so many businesses even the high authorities wanted to know why they so clean. So apparently Rebecca save Roy a night from an assination and then is when their relationship started. I saw their love for each other it was so amazing.

Mom paused for a moment and look at us.

I was wiping tears from my eyes while Fazil is gripping his pants tightly and surprisingly Fallon is extremely silent..

Mom continued again

A year later after their Marriage Rebecca called me excitedly saying she is pregnant and they are having triplets. I screamed with happiness. During that time I had already met John and we were planning to get married. I was waiting to visit Rebecca to tell her of it. I did visit her when she was three months pregnant I told her and of course she was happy for me. I couldn't stay in Barbados for long because John shipment businesses needed us both to operate we had just started to get world wide recognition. I talked to Rebecca every day until her time reach to give birth.. I went for the delivery.  You boys was so beautiful even Roy cried seeing you. Maybe that's why he did it..

Falcon sat up in his chair...

Mom continued.

There was this group of people who were after Roy's family fortune for years. It's was like a dark organization. Maybe Roy thought he can finally destroy them ones and for all to keep you guys save. So he made an agreement with another Mafia family to join to destroy these people. But someone leak it. The night your parents died I was about to head back to America on one  John's cuisine ship..when I receive a called from Rebecca to urgently reach her. I did. She bought you guys and give you to me. She told me everything that was going on... and that I had to protect you.. to change your name and never come back to Barbados. I told her let her come with me.. but she will not leave Roy. I guess the other Mafia family receive the message too late as they rush over your parents was already dead along with 100 of their men. During that time I was already at the middle of the ocean bringing you to your new life. They left everything in your names. We hid the papers of your inheritance after I told John everything we together did our best to build the family you deserve and protect you so these people can't find you.  I couldn't have children but you 3 became our world our kids. And I hope you forgive us. "

Mom stopped and looked at us.

I was crying. So this was what happen. Our real parents are dead. There is so many things to process here........

Fazil jump from his seat. "No no no no no..he exclaimed. "You are trying to tell us you are not our parents", he shouted as he paced around in this office...

Shit this is not going good at all...
