Chapter 3

Ace
I awoke from my nap to a knock on my door. Blair peeped her head in. It was just the sight I wanted to see, "Could you please take me to the mall?" She pleaded. "What am i your personal chauffeur now?" I smirked.
"That would be nice." She said.
I got up and we headed to the car. I drove her to the local mall and dropped her off. She smiled at me and thanked me, i drove off.

Message from Alex
Hey bro just got down with football, meet me at chipotle?
Ace: Be there in 5

I ordered and took a bite of my food. "What have you done today?" Alex asked as he took a bite out of his burrito.
"Took your sister to cheer, picked her up, then took her to the mall." I listed.
"Bro you know you don't have to take her places right?"
"Yeah i know but i like to help."
"She can get annoying so just let me know if you want me to help." He said shaking his head.
I didn't find blair annoying at all, i actually enjoyed her company.

On my way home I picked Blair up. She had a bunch of bags in her hand. "I see you splurged." I said amazed.
"Yep" She smiled.
I loved her smile, her teeth were pearly white and her dimples showed.

We got home and I headed to my room. I laid in bed for a while and thought about my mom, and how much I miss her. I wonder if she would be proud of the man I had become. Who knows. I heard the sound of giggling girls and I peeped outside my door. It was Blair and a friend. Blair spotted me and said "Oh! This is my brothers bestfriend who's staying with us." She exclaimed.
"Hi nice to meet you." I said unamused.
She giggled, "I'm allison." She slurred her words.
"TIME FOR DINNER!" We heard mrs.cutler announce. The smell of chicken pot pie filled the house. Mrs.Cutler was an amazing cook. Mr.Cutler went on about politics while everyone just sat there. "Ace do you have a girlfriend?" Johnny the youngest asked.
"JOHNNY!" Mrs.Cutler scolded him.
"Haha it's totally fine, I do not."

After dinner Mr.Cutler announced we should play a board game. We played life. It was a lot of fun. We all went up to our rooms because it was getting late.

Ace: Is that so?
Blair: Can I give it to her?
Ace: Sure I guess.
Blair: Yay.

Yay? She was happy about that? Girls are confusing. The next morning I woke up not knowing what had happened. I fell asleep. I got up and showered and brushed my teeth. I went downstairs to make myself a breakfast when a very hyper Blair came running down the stairs. "What has you so happy this morning?" I asked amused. "I am going to learn how to drive today!" She exclaimed.
"Is that so? Who's the instructor?"
"You! Now come on!" She dragged my hand out the door.
"Buckle up." I said firmly.
"Please don't crash my car." I pleaded.
"Don't worry!"
She put the keys in the ignition and pressed the gas peddle. She reversed smoothly out of the driveway. "Pretty good." I said surprised.
She started to drive, on the left lane.
"GET IN THE RIGHT LANE!" I yelled.
"Oh that's right!"
She switched lanes, this will be harder than I thought.

We reached a gas station, "Now i'm going to teach you how to put in gas." I said. She sighed, "This shouldn't be difficult." I showed her how to put the pump in the car. I put my hand on top of hers and our eyes met. I looked away but i felt her still staring. "What's this?" She asked pointing to a scar above my eyebrow. "Long story." I replied.

I didn't want to get into it and i was tired.
